Summer is the most favorite time of children. You can spend time in the fresh air all day long, which will strengthen your child’s body. Teachers are thinking about how to organize work with children during the summer in order to satisfy the growing body’s need for creative, cognitive and motor activity.
We prepared thoroughly for the summer. We thought through areas for children's play activities and made a lot of play equipment with our own hands. Parents were involved in this process, for which we are incredibly grateful.

We used small-diameter tree branches, bottoms of plastic bottles, slats from the back of a crib, old abacus, and capsules from Kinder surprises. Walking barefoot in the summer will help strengthen the child's body.

Created center for the development of fine motor skills in the form of play equipment.

We used the back of a crib, plastic balls from a dry pool, pyramid rings and cubes. We secured the rings in such a way that they could move and rotate freely.

They took an old table and fixed half the bill on it. The bones were painted in bright colors. I made lacing game using small plywood, juice box rings and self-adhesive paper. The plywood was screwed to the table. The game required bright colored laces. You can lace in different directions: from top to bottom and vice versa, similar to lacing on shoes.
For games with traffic jams They made a cube out of plywood, inserted the necks of plastic bottles into the upper surface and secured it. We made overhead picture mats from universal napkins. You can select corks by color for each picture composition. A hook was attached to the table leg, on which a bucket with a set of caps and a set of picture rugs were hung. The chairs were taken from a warehouse and painted in bright colors. The equipment was secured on the table in such a way that a group of children could play at the same time, and the table could be approached from different sides.

At the center for the development of fine motor skills of the hands, they secured Sun. It is made of plywood. The eyes are switches. They can be closed and opened. The mouth is lacing. Also used were rings from juice boxes.
A rack with ribbons is attached under the sun. At the ends of the ribbons there are caps from felt-tip pens. Ribbons used for twisting (rolling).

There are various devices attached to it that can be closed, pressed, snapped, turned on, twisted, etc.

Next to the cow mini sandbox we made last year there is now a ram placed next to it.

The ram is made of plywood, wooden blocks are used for the legs. Plexiglas is fixed on top. Sand can also be used for drawing.

The headboard from a children's bed, wooden blocks, wire, stationery nails and clamps were used. On the reverse side there is plywood attached for chalk drawing. A bucket for water is attached to the leg. There is also a cloth that children can use to erase drawings.

To teach traffic rules, markings were made on the asphalt and a traffic light was made from plywood and self-adhesive film.

The road is made in the form of a cape, it is sewn from fabric. An elastic band is used, which is inserted along the edges of the road. It allows you to freely put the road on the table. You need to throw it in your mouth. For this purpose, a round hole was cut out, a bag in the form of a bag of red fabric was sewn, which was secured using a furniture stapler. For throwing you can use small rubber balls, plastic balls, cones. They are easy to take out and put back in a bowl or basket.

For this purpose, the walls were painted accordingly. One wall is the kitchen, the other wall is the bedroom.

Carpets were laid. They put up an old cot. A cradle was hung from a hook in the ceiling. They made it from an old stroller, which they covered with bright fabric, tulle and rope.

There is no doubt about the need to equip a playground on a personal plot. Difficulties arise only in the process of creating a project with your own hands, selecting material and place in conditions of its shortage. It is very important to follow safety rules during the construction of a playground. This also applies to the choice of place where it will be located. In this case, you need to follow the basic rules:

Particular attention should be paid to the covering of the playground. It should be as soft as possible, because children are not immune from falls. The coating must dry quickly, since high humidity negatively affects the child’s health. It is recommended to use a special rubber coating that meets all requirements, but is quite expensive.

Dimensions

Before deciding what should be on your playground, it is recommended to decide on its size. They depend on the age of the kids. As a rule, children under the age of 7 need a space of about 9 m2 to play. With age, it is recommended to increase the site (this possibility must be taken into account when planning).

Remember that the equipment and their size must be appropriate for the age of the children who will spend time on this site.

Remember about the so-called safety zones. By default they should be equal to 1 m. However, there are small exceptions to this rule. For example, the safety zone for rolling out of a slide should be at least 1.5 m on all sides. The carousel has a similar area.

Suitable materials

Absolutely any materials, even improvised ones (plastic bottles, tires), are suitable for arranging a playground on a personal plot. However, for key structures such as a slide and swing, it is recommended to use only high-quality material, since in this case we are talking about the safety of the child.

For the playground you can take:

Tree. Preferably coniferous species. In this case, you need to ensure that there are no knots, rot or mold, or other signs of damage to the wood. Before assembling the structures, all wooden parts must be carefully treated with a special water-repellent agent.
Metal. It is recommended to make all fastening elements and parts of power equipment, for example, a horizontal bar, from this material.

It is undesirable to have plastic products on the playground, since it is short-lived; literally after two years of use, microcracks appear on its surface, which make this product unhygienic and therefore unsafe. The same applies to stones. They should not be on the playground. Even if you need to build a border, then for this purpose it is better to take soft materials, ideally make them from plants.

DIY sandbox

Making this element of the playground is not at all difficult; just follow a pre-drawn plan:

Prepare 10 thick boards 1.8 m long.
At the place where the sandbox will be located, remove the top layer of soil (20–25 cm). Make a small indentation in the center. It is necessary to pour drainage material over the entire area, which can be pebbles or crushed stone.
Cut grooves along the edges of the boards (two boards are needed on one side), thanks to which they will be attached to each other. For fixation, you can use small bars (about 30 cm long).
The two remaining boards will act as benches. Therefore, they need to be attached flat.
At the end, the sandbox needs to be painted in any color.

How to make a swing

For load-bearing supports, it is necessary to prepare 6 beams with a cross-section of 5x5 cm. Further work should be carried out in the following order:

Tighten the posts with bolts on both sides of the future swing.
Connect them from above with a beam, and it is recommended to prepare the nests for this in advance.
You can make a ladder on the side, which will serve as an excellent sports equipment for outdoor games.
