Minced meat can be cooked in a meat grinder, you can grind in a blender. We will cook in a blender. Therefore, the first step is to prepare products for the blender. Onion cut into small pieces. We also cut the fillet into pieces so that it is convenient to immerse them in a blender or meat grinder.

First of all, chop the onion in a blender. Put the chopped onion in a bowl where we will knead the minced meat for meatballs in the future. Then chop the fillet pieces and put them in a bowl with onions. We also send boiled rice here. To make meatballs even tastier, grate melted cheese on a fine grater here. You can rub 100 grams of hard cheese, but it will be much tastier with melted cheese. Now we add salt to taste, try to make the minced meat moderately salty, but not very, as we will still add salt to the gravy. We pepper a little. We will also add spices for the chicken here. And mix everything well and thoroughly with your hands. So that all the ingredients are mixed evenly. Note that we do not add an egg, since cheese and rice will keep their shape perfectly together, and meatballs without an egg will be much more tender and juicy.

Meatballs are formed. Now we need to prepare the sauce for the gravy. Add sour cream to a well-heated pan with vegetable oil. We also add spices here: paprika, basil, nutmeg and black ground pepper, add some salt and mix. When the sour cream with spices is slightly passivated, add a small amount of water and one tablespoon of flour. Mix well. As the gravy starts to boil it will thicken. Add more water and let the gravy boil. You can go the opposite way, first heat the vegetable oil, add flour and fry a little, literally a minute. And then add sour cream, water and spices there.

The gravy has boiled, and now pour our meatballs with hot gravy. We send meatballs to cook in a preheated oven to 180 C. until cooked. By the time it is about 40-45 minutes.

  • chicken fillet - 600 g;
  • steamed rice - 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • egg;
  • bulb;
  • tomato juice - 1 glass;
  • a mixture of seasonings for chicken - 1 teaspoon;
  • wheat flour - 3-4 tbsp. spoons;
  • black pepper - a pinch;
  • Bay leaf;
  • sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • salt - 1 teaspoon.

How to cook minced chicken meatballs with gravy

Cut the chicken fillet into large pieces and pass twice through a meat grinder. Put the mince in a deep bowl.


Cut the onion into 4-5 large pieces and chop with a blender. If you pass the onion through a meat grinder along with the meat, then it will come out too large, and the meatballs will fall apart. Add the onion to the meat and stir with a fork.


Crack the egg into the minced meat and mix well.


Add all spices and salt.


Rice is better to boil a little before adding to minced meat. Fill it with hot water and after boiling, boil for 3-5 minutes, then drain the water and cool. Hot rice will spoil the formation of meatballs.
