Chainsaw husqvarna 365 xp instruction manual

Udod 09-02-2009 15:13

I acquired a Husqvarna 365XP chainsaw completely by accident. There was no intention of buying it, but they offered it at such a price that I couldn’t refuse. I’ve never owned a tool like this before, so I don’t understand a damn thing about it. The instructions for its use are more like safety instructions. (Helmet, glasses, gloves, ambulance nearby, etc.). Maybe someone will tell you the intricacies of operating such a device, or give a link.

I don’t understand anything at all. I started looking on the Internet for data on my saw and found nothing. But I discovered that appearance and its characteristics fully correspond to one of the Hitachi models, although all the nameplates with Husqvarna inscriptions say that they were made in Sweden. Is this the result of globalization?

Before starting, check if the brake is on, i.e. Pull the brake handle towards you. Start it like this; you turn on the ignition, if it’s frosty outside, then it starts to choke and very slowly crank the engine with a cord, the slower the better, as soon as you feel the flash in the cylinder it will give off in your hand, only after that pull sharply, here, on the contrary, the sharper the better (within reasonable within limits, of course, otherwise you can tear off the lace). Well, the chain should be properly tensioned, you pull it with your fingers, it should pull back 1cm, then back into place, like an elastic band from your panties. When sawing, do not press hard, or better yet, very lightly and under your own weight. When you are sawing a strong dry forest, don’t give too much gas, and if you feel that the sawing has become weaker, then immediately stop and sharpen the chain, otherwise you will burn it until it turns blue, like the sky before a storm. Well, the Swedes have everything right with the helmet, etc. If you work in our Russian-Moscow forest, collecting firewood from dead wood, then knowledge from strength-of-material materials, such as a beam with a pinched end, diagrams of bending moments so as not to pinch the saw bar, will not hurt, and where to run from the tree, prepare the way, fir trees , for example, remove the small ones, otherwise it’s very easy and you can bruise your end.

According to this link, you will simply run into 365. and nothing about XP. I've already been through this. By the way, the photo does not correspond to what I have.

Why is the tire upside down?))))

Yes, they probably got it mixed up in the store. The chain fits fine on it. And the teeth on the sprockets seem to be symmetrical. For work, IMHO, it doesn’t matter. Although, I’ll rearrange it, of course. Otherwise it’s undignified

Dear Udod! I’m afraid to disappoint you, but I recently bought something similar “at a reasonable price” - Husqvarna. The result is that in the special store they grinned and said the magic word - China. True, everything is working so far. Yes, they sold LKN.

It was cheaper than the Chinese Partner with a 30cm tire, so I’m not too upset. Yes, and in appearance there are no special jambs visible. You'll have to climb inside, there's a mark somewhere.
PS By the way, I didn’t notice any differences from the Hitachi listed on the site.

Teaching staff And LKN is what (who)?

We need it clear))))))))))))))) persons of a specific nationality))))))))))))))))))))))))

It still needs to be turned over periodically so that the sprocket wears evenly. And sometimes even change

Under no circumstances 1 cm!!! The chain tension is determined exactly this way - you pull it with your fingers - the chain MUST rise above the tire, BUT TO A HEIGHT OF NO MORE THAN 4-5 mm! Those. so that the CHAIN TEETH DOES NOT COME OUT OF ENGAGEMENT WITH THE BAR. If there is more, the chain may fly off the tire when sawing - THIS IS DANGEROUS! Do not forget that the chain heats up when sawing and stretches a little - you need to watch it and tighten it in time.

All instructions say to operate at full throttle (or throttle). If you don't apply more gas, you can burn the clutch. It is inertial (more gas - holds tighter).

The tire is turned over from time to time so that it wears out (erased) evenly. Chain lubrication is required. The first tank from the tire is filled with any MOTOR oil (in winter, a thinner hydraulic oil can be used). There is a hole on the tire near the sprocket axis. Use a grease fitting to add lithol (or a similar lubricant). So we lubricate the sprocket bearing.

It is better not to store diluted (with additive) gasoline for a long time, but to prepare a small amount before work and try to use it.

The sharpness of the chain is determined by the sawdust. Should be in the form of a “straw” if “dust” means sharpening. The RC itself is sharpened with a round file of the required diameter, and the limiter is flat; its height regulates the “aggressiveness” of the sawing.
For hard (frozen) wood the limiter is larger (higher), for soft wood it is smaller (lower).

Good luck with the operation!

The Husqvarna 365 XP chainsaw is one of the most controversial models on the market today garden tools. On the one hand, this is a Chinese analogue of the Husqvarna 5200 chainsaw, which has practically nothing in common with the Swedish brand. On the other hand, this fact does not prevent the 365 model from being in demand among buyers, because the chainsaw has such important qualities as reliability, durability and high performance.

The design of a Chinese chainsaw includes the same elements and mechanisms that can be found in any European-made saw. In addition to them, the Husqvarna 365 XP chainsaw received several additional options, which allow it to stand out from other garden tools. Among design features Husqvarna 365 XP chainsaws should be highlighted:

  • The presence of a durable magnesium-aluminum crankcase allows the chainsaw to successfully cope with its tasks even when long work under extremely high loads;
  • The Husqvarna 365 chainsaw is equipped with a high-quality oil pump, the function of which is to distribute lubricant to the tool chain. If necessary, the volume of supplied oil can be adjusted;
  • Availability of free access to the tension screw saw chain– thanks to this, the operator does not need to remove the protective cover each time;
  • The decompression valve in the device is responsible for reducing the pressure in the cylinder of the Husqvarna 365 chainsaw;
  • The handle is located at an angle for ease of operation of the chainsaw. The controls are located on the side cover, which greatly simplifies the adjustment of the Husqvarna 365 XP model.

Among other things, the Chinese manufacturer equipped the Husqvarna chainsaw with an effective easy-start system, the presence of which significantly extends the service life of the motor and other components of the model.

  • Remove top cover housing, unscrewing the bolts holding it;
  • Carefully remove the candle and inspect it carefully;
  • If necessary, clean the part by removing dried engine oil stains from it;
