Variety of designs

The overall dimensions of the central air conditioner can be selected depending on the actual installation conditions. The design is based on a supporting frame and profiles made of aluminum (or anodized aluminum, which is best suited for working in aggressive environments) with a section of 40x40 or 60x60 mm. There are modifications of profiles with a section of 60x60 mm with a thermal insulating insert to reduce heat loss. Profiles with oval inner surface recommended for use in the food industry, medicine, and other areas with special hygiene requirements.

Panels can be flat, 25 and 46 mm thick, or stepped, 42 and 62 mm thick.

Stepped panels allow you to get flat surface inside the product. Insulation is made of polyurethane foam (40-50 kg/m3) or fibrous mineral wool(90 kg/m3).

The units are completed with a control cabinet based on a digital controller with all power and control connections. Additional options and accessories

DAIKIN VAM series recuperators are not equipped with frost protection. When operating ventilation units below -10 0 C, it is desirable to install frost protection, which includes:

Installation of an additional air heater is necessary when the structure is operating at temperatures below -10 degrees. Its power is initially calculated for the maximum air flow. A magnetic starter, unlike a relay, although it has a lower cost, also has a number of disadvantages, one of which is contact noise when the load is turned on and off. To avoid extraneous noise during the operation of the plant heater, it is desirable to install a solid state relay that is completely silent in operation. Just like heaters, relays are selected depending on the power.
If the heat exchanger is planned to be installed in a warm room, then it is advisable to additionally install air dampers at the air inlet and outlet of the unit to the street, which will open when the unit is turned on and close when it is turned off.
In order to be able to connect motorized air dampers to the installation, it is necessary to use a differential pressure sensor, the sensors of which are installed before and after supply fan. A pressure sensor is also required when a frost protection kit is connected to the system. As a result of the operation of the fan when the unit is switched on, a pressure difference is created and the sensor sends a signal to open the air dampers and to the frost protection device.
