Handmade desktop jigsaw. Homemade jigsaw machine for sawing: drawings and videos. Desktop devices: expert reviews

The article will primarily be useful to those people who often work with wood as a hobby, without making money from it. The author presented a fairly budget project desktop jigsaw, which can be collected in one day, with minimal cost for materials.

To create a machine, you will need the following materials:
- Working manual jigsaw;
- Plywood;
- Self-tapping screws and bolts with nuts;
- Guides of furniture boxes;
- Two bearings;
- Tension spring;
- Spray can with paint;
- Self-adhesive paper.

Materials and tools are standard, available in each workshop.

Step 1. Case.
The first step is to create a body for a manual jigsaw from plywood. Here it is necessary to think in advance where the holes for the switch and the speed controller will be located.
It should come out like this:

Step 2. Table top.
It is better to take a thick piece of chipboard with good coverage, since workpieces will be rubbed on it during the operation of the machine.

A hole is drilled in the chipboard for the file. The jigsaw itself will be attached to the back of the countertop.
An extension for fastening the boom is also made from furniture rails:

Here's what it looks like assembled:

And the tabletop is attached to the body:

Step 3. Arrow.
The arrow itself will be made of two furniture rails. They are bolted together to increase rigidity.

The boom supports are made of chipboard. Before painting and installing them, the point of attachment of the boom to the support is measured. Before that, they must be installed in their place:

After that, holes must be drilled in the support for seats bearings.

Step 4. Painting.
Prepared supports are painted from a can.

While they dry, the machine itself is glued with self-adhesive.

Step 5. Assembly.
Bearings are inserted into the supports, and they are screwed into place.

The boom mounting axis will be made of two bolts screwed into the guides as shown in the photo. The diameter of the bolts is selected in accordance with the diameter of the inner race of the bearing.

The bolts are securely tightened, after which the two halves are screwed to each other.

Here is a visual illustration of how the arrow will be fixed in the supports:

The boom is installed in its place and fixed with nuts.

The next step is to install the tension spring. It is necessary in order to return the arrow to its original position after the jigsaw pulls it down. Thus, the reciprocating motion of the file will be performed. It must be adjusted so that it is not too soft (this will complicate the operation of the machine) and too hard (this can lead to overheating of the jigsaw motor).

How to fix it is shown in the photo:

Then, from a thin strip of metal (1 mm), it is necessary to make the attachment of the file to the arrow. They must rotate freely on the axis, because during operation the arrow changes the angle of inclination to the jigsaw, and if they are static, this can lead to breakage of the file.

Here's what the mounts should look like:

The boom supports are additionally reinforced with a long bolt, it can be seen in the photo:

Step 6. Electronic part.
Since access to a manual jigsaw is limited, it is necessary to bring the controls to the outside of the case.

To adjust the speed of the jigsaw motor, the author used a phase power controller. Here is his wiring diagram.

Without a jigsaw, many woodworking operations are impossible. Compact and lightweight, it allows you to manufacture products of even the most complex geometries. Sometimes, for example, with large amounts of work, it is more convenient to work with this tool not as a manual jigsaw, but in the format of a machine tool. Such equipment is presented in the catalogs of many manufacturers. household power tool, but if necessary, you can make it yourself.

Equipment selection - main points

To begin with, it is worth answering the question: with what material will the master work most often? Motor power of 50-90 watts is sufficient for most types of wood, but if you are going to process hardwood and significant volumes, look for options in 120 watts. Stepwise adjustment of engine speed ( saw blade speed) is desirable, choose models with a smooth change in this parameter.

The ability to adjust the speed is needed to adapt the machine to work with different types of wood - heating of the material is excluded, which will spoil the cut. In addition, by gradually increasing the speed, the master concentrates on a complex procedure, and the engine also operates in a gentle mode, which increases its resource.

Some models provide for the possibility of cutting not only in a horizontal surface, but also at an angle, and a special scale will allow you to choose the most accurate position of the workpiece. Semi-professional and household machines allow you to change the tilt of the desktop up to 45 ° in one direction, professional - up to 45 ° in both directions.

Pay attention to the work surface. It should be massive enough so as not to sag under heavy workpieces, very smooth (so the part slides on the base without problems) and polished so as not to stain the workpiece.

When choosing equipment, it is important to remember the nominal number of revolutions. Many masters mistakenly believe that it should correspond to at least 1650 reciprocating movements of the file in 60 seconds - only with this indicator the cut will be perfectly even, without chips and notches. However, modern desktop machines from well-known manufacturers guarantee a perfect cutting line even at speeds of 700-1400 strokes per minute.

Do not forget about the maximum stroke of the saw blade - the thickness of the workpieces depends on this value. Additional options are also important:

  • the presence of an engraver - add. shaft for particularly precise cuts and the manufacture of fine crafts;
  • removal of wood dust and shavings from the work surface;
  • illumination of the cutting zone.

How to navigate in models from different manufacturers?

There are many models of jigsaws on the modern market, but there are several main "players", and each of them has its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages.

Corvette models from Enkor are household-class machines and are not suitable for industrial use, but they are quite functional equipment equipped with a swivel worktop to perform an oblique cut under right angle, fixed stop with a degree scale.

Although the machines of this model are not designed for processing massive workpieces, the manufacturer offers a 150 W drive. The motor is a collector type, quite noisy and prone to overheating, unable to work without interruption and requiring regular replacement of brushes.

The amplitude of the saw stroke is 40 mm, the oscillation frequency is 700 per 60 seconds (in some modifications, a second speed has been added - 1400 per minute for selection optimal mode when processing wood of different hardness). The files supplied with the equipment are not of impeccable quality, so it makes sense to immediately change them to analogues from a third-party manufacturer.

The Zubr models also belong to household machines, compact enough even for use in a city apartment. The main feature of this equipment, which can be called its disadvantage, is a noticeable vibration, which interferes with the implementation of a high-precision cut.

Zubr machines are capable of processing plywood, solid wood, plastic, thin aluminum in a horizontal plane and at an angle. They also perform drilling, grinding and polishing; for this, an additional desktop and a flexible shaft with a chuck are provided in the delivery set.

Overheating of the cutting tool is prevented by the built-in cooling system, there is an electromagnetic switch to prevent accidental switching on. Files in Zubr machines are used special, reinforced, having pins at their ends.

The working surface is fenced off from the operator by a transparent casing to protect it from dust and chips, and the cutting area is cleared of sawing products by blowing to improve visibility. Efficient waste disposal is provided. The motor used is a collector type, sufficiently resistant to overloads. Its brushes are designed for long-term operation, but their quick replacement in the equipment is still provided.

For creative carpentry workshops RSW jigsaws are designed. Among their features are the minimum backlash and the most accurate trajectory of the cutting tool. The equipment provides everything for effective work operator: guardrail and lighting working area, the ability to remove sawn products with a conventional vacuum cleaner.

In RSW machines, the file has an unusual arrangement - with the teeth down, pin files are used, they are replaced without a key. Also among the features of the equipment is the presence of the most powerful engine in the category of similar professional machine tools.

For craft workshops, art studios and serious hobbies, JSS jigsaws from the JET brand are designed. They provide a stable cutting angle, the speed of the cutting tool is changed steplessly by the built-in electronic system.

The manufacturer offers its own branded pin-mounted files, but JSS JET equipment is also able to work with “ordinary” ones. These machines are suitable for sawing complex shapes, but the workpieces to be processed should not be unnecessarily large. Their material is wood, chipboard, plywood, fiberboard, hard and soft plastics.

The blade tension lever is located in the upper part of the machine, which increases the convenience of working with it, and the cutting blade is installed in two versions - across and along the longitudinal axis of the equipment. Dust and sawdust are easily removed by an adjustable nozzle connected to the dust extraction system. The working table can be installed at an angle, to control the accuracy of its location there is a transport scale and a stopper.

How to build a jigsaw machine on your own?

Such equipment can be made at home with your own hands, craftsmen even create such machines from old sewing machines. If you have certain skills, the drawing and design scheme are developed independently.

As a table, you can use a countertop, a workbench, and if they are not there, a home-made design made of laminated plywood at least 10 mm thick. A kind of table should be built from it with a working surface size of about 500x500 mm and a leg height of about 400-500 mm. They can be two or three solid or four separate. In the first case, the design resembles a box, in the second - a traditional table on a reduced scale).

The necessary parts are sawn with a hacksaw for wood or circular saw, into a single system individual elements fastened with screws. In the table lid, drill holes for fastening the tool and for the saw blade with a drill. In the sole of the jigsaw, you will also have to make mounting holes. After that, you can attach it with bolts to the tabletop so that the cutting part is brought out vertically upwards.

The advantage of such a home-made jigsaw machine is a clear fixation of the tool and a guarantee that the master's hand will lead the cut along the desired path.

A similar version of the machine does not always form the correct curvilinear cut - the file can deviate, especially if a massive workpiece is processed. The problem is solved by rigid fixation of the cutting tool with a pair of rollers that need to be placed on an additional part.

It is made from bars with a cross section of about 50x50 mm. which are connected into an L-shaped element using a furniture corner and self-tapping screws, attached to the desktop, and at the free end a bent metal plate with rollers made of bolts and bearing parts is placed with rigid fixation.

What to do if curly and very precise cuts are needed?

To perform the most accurate, very thin curly cuts, a home-made jigsaw machine must be equipped with a cutting blade tension system. Features of this device include:

  • the fork should be used very thin - for manual jigsaws;
  • the rod of the electric tool must be connected to the clamp that tensions the saw blade using a special adapter;
  • as a tension block, use a conventional clamp manual jigsaw.

In constructive terms, the machine differs little from that described above. It is necessary to build a work table with a hole for cutting tool and attach a clamp to the tabletop, and place the electric drive from below.

If cuts are needed particularly precise and delicate, which implies extremely delicate and slow work, it is necessary to reduce the force on the file while ensuring strong tension and precise movement. To this end, a home-made machine must be equipped with spacers on long arms instead of the traditional clamp of a manual jigsaw.

The spacer structure and shoulders holding the file are made of wood or steel. Otherwise, the design of the machine resembles a model with a manual clamp.

A desktop jigsaw is useful for every craftsman who cuts out thin details. However, it is far from always possible and meaningful to acquire a full-fledged machine. In this case, get down to business and do it yourself!

The device of the jigsaw machine - what lies inside?

Jigsaw machines are more about special tools than about devices that are needed as experienced master, and the amateur hosting in the garage. Their purpose is reduced to a special task, namely cutting out complex curvilinear contours from sheet materials. A special “chip” of such machines can also be attributed to the execution of the cut without violating the integrity of the external contour. Most often, sawing occurs on wood and derived materials (plywood, chipboard, fiberboard), although modern machines equipped with appropriate nail files are able to work with other materials, such as plastic or drywall.

Such equipment has found application in the music industry (manufacturing musical instruments) and, of course, in furniture. They buy such units and lovers of tinkering in their own workshop. The device of a traditional jigsaw machine, designed according to all the rules, is as follows: working surface, on which the saw is brought out, hides the drive (electric motor) and the crank structure under it. The tension mechanism can be located both below and above the machine.

To process a part, it must be placed on the desktop. Many models have the ability to turn it at different angles to make bevel cuts. Stops and guides on the surface, as well as rotary mechanism can have markup, which greatly simplifies and speeds up the work. It is the length of the cut that depends on the length of the desktop - most models are limited to 30-40 cm. The power of the electric motor is an important, but still far from the most fundamental factor, since the machine has a huge margin of unclaimed power. For example, for a home workshop or even a small production, a “engine” of only 150 watts is enough.

Crank mechanism - much more important detail, because in this case it depends on it the quality of the transfer of the torque of the drive into the forward-return motion directed to vertical plane by means of a saw.

Standard jigsaw machines are considered devices with a range of motion in the region of 3-5 cm at an oscillation frequency of up to 1000 per minute. In many models, a change in speed mode is provided for different materials. The jigsaw itself is usually made up to 35 cm long and is able to cut material up to 10 cm thick. The width of the files can vary in a fairly wide range - from very thin two-millimeter to coarser ten-millimeter, with a thickness of 0.6 mm to 1.25 mm.

Even the thickest and widest nail file will easily break if you do not provide sufficient tension along the entire length of the nail file. For this, spring and helical springs are used. Quite often, such machines are equipped with air pump, which cleans the cut from sawdust by blowing, as well as a drilling block. The last device is especially useful, because in this case, the master does not need to be distracted by the connection electric drill and drilling a hole - everything happens on the working plane of the machine. Of course, you have to pay for convenience!

How to make a jigsaw machine with your own hands from a manual jigsaw?

On the web you will find many different designs homemade machines, but most of them come down to reprofiling into this machine. Using your ingenuity and watching the video, you can easily make a homemade jigsaw machine from this tool. You only need to modify the jigsaw a little. In fact, it plays the role of a machine tool drive and a crank mechanism, the rest needs to be thought out and implemented.

Of course, manufacturers are trying to please consumers in this area as well, offering their own platform options for quick and convenient rework, however, in reality, only you can make an apparatus that meets your needs. So, the first step is to make a support table, for which they most often use sheet metal. In it you need to make a slanted oblong hole for the saw blade and holes for fasteners (countersunk screws are recommended), and attach the jigsaw to the bottom of the support table.

This design remains only to strengthen on wooden table. You can go beyond this and install guide rails. The convenience of such an apparatus lies in the fact that in addition to performing functions that are not entirely inherent in it, you can always disconnect the drive and with a flick of the wrist turn it back into a manual electric jigsaw! If you constantly need this tool for work, it makes sense specifically for the machine - it will be cheaper than spending money on a real machine.

Advantages and disadvantages - we continue to modify!

But such an assembly inherits not only the advantages of the tool, but also its disadvantages, in particular, a nail file that is too wide for filigree work, which significantly limits the curvature of the lines. If there is a need for this, there is a way out. So far, our machine differs from the classic jigsaw unit by the absence of springs that would provide sufficient tension for the nail file. But to build a simple rocker, which on the one hand will be under the tension of the springs, and on the other hand fixed on a nail file, is quite easy.

There is another option - to clamp the nail file between two guide rollers, but the first option is still more reliable. Do not forget to turn off the pendulum stroke on the jigsaw before you start using a homemade machine. There is another design - if your tool is powerful enough, then it can only serve as a drive in a design of two rocker arms, between which a nail file is stretched. The movement is transmitted by means of a nail file fixed on the lower rocker arm.

Machine from a sewing machine - we give a second life to old tools!

If you inherited from your grandmother or mother got a foot or hand sewing machine, consider yourself the owner of an excellent jigsaw machine! Of course, for this you need to “conjure” a little over the machine. First, remove the thread weaving device, which is usually located at the bottom of the machine. There is nothing complicated in this, it is enough to unscrew the two bolts. Then we knock out the cotter pin and remove the drive shaft leading to the thread weaving mechanism.

Having unscrewed the top panel that protects the mechanisms, it is necessary to expand the slot in which the needle went. Focus on the needs and width of the nail file that you will use in your work. Jigsaw blades of this kind also need to be slightly modified, namely cut to the maximum length of the needle that could be used on this machine. After grinding off the upper teeth and sharpening the lower part on the point, you just have to insert the nail file into the needle holder and test your machine in action!

In the previous article, we talked about how you can make it yourself, that is, the cutting element is a thin, flexible file that is tensioned with a spring. It is very convenient to use this tool curly cut- all kinds of curves, radius saws. However, in a carpentry shop, there is generally a need for sawing in a straight line at various angles. For such tasks, the above-mentioned machine will be inconvenient, so we bring to your attention new design designed specifically for smooth and straight cuts.

Introduction

Classification

There are two main constructive approaches to solving such a problem, they are divided according to their location in space:

  • up;
  • down.

The first option will be described by us a little later, since at the time of writing this article it is in our development at the prototype and design stage, but the second option will be described in this article.

Purpose

This design is quite versatile and has a wide range of applications from household (at home) to use for industrial purposes (carpentry workshops, furniture workshops, etc.). Versatility is determined by the fact that the machine is built on the base, which is a common hand-held power tool and almost every master owns it, as it is compact and multifunctional. With it, you can workpieces from various kinds materials:

  • solid wood;
  • plastics

and others.

Advantages

Compared to the standard method of use, this device allows you to achieve one, but very important parameter - the evenness of the cut. Sawing off quickly and somehow can be quite simple, putting the workpiece on a horizontal surface, hanging the part to be sawn off, and sawing off. But there is no need to talk about the quality of the cut, no matter what the master. Our design allows:

  • make a simple even cut (strictly in a straight line);
  • trim the workpiece at a clearly defined angle - 90 ° and other arbitrarily specified angles;
  • make a straight saw at an angle to the plane of the workpiece, when it is not perpendicular to the plane of the workpiece, but has a different, pre-set angle, for example 45 °.

Basic construct

The device is not tricky and consists of several main elements:

  • base;
  • guide;
  • swivel stop.

All structural parts are made of plywood or solid wood.

Here is a little help on, it may come in handy.

Nominal plywood thickness, mm Number of layers of plywood, not less than Sanded plywood Rough plywood

Making tooling for a straight saw with an electric jigsaw

This section will describe step by step instructions for the manufacture of the product. The whole process is divided into three stages of manufacturing structural elements:

  • base;
  • guide;
  • swivel stop.

For the manufacture we need the material:

  • solid wood of coniferous breeds;
  • various fasteners (mainly wood screws, furniture fittings, studs, etc.)

and the following tool will also be used:

  • Milling machine;
  • Circular saw or machine from;
  • Drilling machine;
  • grinding machine ();
  • Electric jigsaw with;
  • Various hand tools.

guide

To make a guide, you need to take a board of the following sizes:

It must slide along the guide, so the features of the guide plate (in technical slang - “sole”) are very important.

We make the markup of the guide blank.

Then you need to select a groove with a router, which will be the guide along which the sole of the jigsaw will move during the sawing process.

We manufacture end stops. Then they need to be glued to limit the movement of the jigsaw along the guide, as shown in the photo.

We check the smoothness of the jigsaw along the guide and in case of defects or burrs that impede the course, remove them.

Next, you need to make cylindrical bushings to prevent jamming of wood when clamped with fixing screws. Bushings can be made from aluminum tube with a diameter of 10mm. We drill holes and press bushings into them. This completes the production of the guide.

Base

The base, by and large, is just a box, which is the basis for attaching the guide and the rotary stop, and most importantly, it raises the entire structure above the level () so that it does not get damaged.

The assembly of the box is simple and unpretentious - the upper base is made of and the sides are made of the same or solid wood. So, we cut out the sides.

And we attach them to the base to make a box, as shown in the photo.

Further, into the drilled holes in the base, we screw in the M6 or M8 furniture fittings.

We screw the studs into them and install the guide.

We make a cut of the working groove, as shown in the photo.

We cut out an expanded groove for the possibility of sawing at an angle. It should be noted that when sawing at an angle, you need a rather long

We fix the direct stop with screws, make a hole and install an M6 or M8 furniture fitting for fixing the rotary stop. See photo below.

On this, we consider the manufacture of the base to be completed.

Swivel stop

The design of the stop is simple and unpretentious, it is a guide with a semicircular element glued to it for fixing on the base.

We install the stop using a bolt of the appropriate diameter. The bolt head can be "planted" in a convenient handle so as not to be used every time wrench. We also fix the guide with homemade nuts made from mortise wing nuts.

At this point, we consider the sawing machine ready.

We hope that the presented material was useful to you.

Conclusion

We have done universal fixture for a straight cut based on a household electric jigsaw, which should rightfully take its rightful place in your workshop among the tools.

An electric jigsaw is a tool without which it is simply impossible to perform many woodworking and material processing works in which it is used. Possessing compactness and low weight, a manual portable jigsaw is able to cut out products of very complex geometry from a workpiece.

In work, the jigsaw is very convenient and besides, it provides very precise and thin cut. If you do not want to spend money on a purchased jigsaw, you can make it yourself at home.

The lightest product

The jigsaw table itself can be made with your own hands in a short period of an hour. The advantage of the fabricated design is its simplicity. It can be easily mounted on a countertop or workbench and, if necessary, can also be easily disassembled. disadvantage homemade design can be considered as a small area.

The simplest product consists of the following parts:

  1. Plywood.
  2. Mounting screws.
  3. Clamps.

The working basis of the machine can be laminated plywood, in which it is necessary to drill holes for installing fasteners and for the saw itself. Plywood must be at least 10 mm thick. In this case, in the sole of your power tool, you may also have to make holes for the mounting screws.

Homemade design can be attached to workbench with clamps. Please note that the heads of the screws for fastening must be recessed into the surface of the sheet so that they do not interfere with you during operation. Such a machine can easily handle the processing of small workpieces up to 30 millimeters thick. A drawing of this type of machine can be easily found on the Internet, and then with your own hands you can assemble it at home.

Another variant

This option consists of the following parts:

  1. Bed made of chipboard.
  2. Tube for vacuum cleaner.
  3. Laminated plywood for machine cover.
  4. Confirmants.

There is a second version of a stationary device for working with wood material, which is assembled from a larger number of spare parts, but it will not be difficult to make it. The bed is made of chipboard and consists of a rear wall and two sidewalls. To make it easy to get to the power button, the front wall of the machine is missing.

IN back wall do-it-yourself necessary drill holes for vacuum cleaner tube and cord. The cover for the machine can be made of laminated plywood with a thickness of 10 millimeters. The whole structure can be pulled together by confirmants. The jigsaw can be fixed in the same way as described above in the first case.

On a machine made according to this option, more massive workpieces can be processed, however, when working with a thick workpiece, the jigsaw saw can go in both directions and lean back. In this case, the accuracy of the cut deteriorates. This disadvantage can be easily eliminated with your own hands by installing a bracket on a home-made machine that will serve as an emphasis.

The jigsaw saw will move between two 11mm bearings, which must be screwed to the L-shaped strip made of steel. The back of the saw will rest against the wall of the bracket itself. This design will prevent your jigsaw blade from deviating from a given path.

The bracket must be attached to the frame, made of bars 50 by 50 millimeters. It can be lowered or raised depending on the length and thickness of the wood being processed. To do this, the frame itself, together with the stop, must not be fixed tightly to the sidewall of the machine, but pressed against it with a hardboard, steel or textolite plate. Install vertical rack frame between hardboard and bed.

The machine can be more convenient if you mount an additional limiting bar on it, with which you can cut the material into workpieces of the same length and thickness.

The limiter is attached to the machine with clamps. His are made from wooden beam , aluminum or steel corner. You can also, for convenience, install a bar on a sled, which must be fixed to the sides or bottom of the tabletop.

Table for jigsaw machine made of chipboard

For making this jigsaw table you must have a certain carpentry skill, since when connecting its tsarg with legs, it must be made into a tenon groove. The tenon groove itself can be changed to a connection using dowels, wood glue and self-tapping screws.

The cover of the machine must be made lifting, to facilitate access to the tool when replacing it. In order for the machine to be multifunctional, it is necessary to provide a place for mounting a milling manual machine.

The table is assembled from the following materials:

  • bar 80 by 80 millimeters;
  • bar 40 by 80 millimeters;
  • laminated plywood or laminated chipboard measuring 900 by 900 millimeters.

Measure the distance between the legs, it should be from 60 to 70 centimeters. The bars for the prolegs and the tsarg will be obtained if the bars 80 by 80 millimeters are cut lengthwise. You can choose the height of the legs yourself at your discretion, it all depends on how convenient it will be for you to work on the machine.

At each end of the prolegs and the tsarg, it is necessary to drill two holes for the dowels. The same holes must be made on the sidewalls of the legs. Coat the dowels with glue for half their length and insert into the ends. After that, assemble the frame completely. It will turn out to be indestructible. After checking and possible corrections, it tightens tightly.

All surfaces at the contact points must be smear with glue. Use self-tapping screws for additional structural strength, which must be screwed through the holes prepared in advance for them.

The lid must be attached to one of the drawers with the help of hinges; for this, a slot must be made in it to facilitate the removal and installation of the jigsaw. In the countertop on the back side, it is necessary to screw two strips with a pre-selected quarter, into which the sole of the power tool should enter.

Holes must be made in the slats, into which bolts or clamping screws must then be installed. A jigsaw fixed under the tabletop will be able to cut thicker material if a recess is made for its sole in the lid. The easiest way to make this recess using a milling machine.

As a result, the table will turn out to be very simple and spacious, so the necessary strength of its cover can be provided by a large thickness of chipboard or plywood. Use sheets of 20 mm or thicker.

Jigsaw machine using thin saws

Since, when cutting difficult patterns in plywood, I saw an electric jigsaw, it is not well suited for this, you need to take a thin nail file. It can be attached to a hand-held power tool using the original fixture.

We also attach the jigsaw to the tabletop, but a thin file must be pulled, as it will not be enough just set on a pendulum. To facilitate the process of stretching the file, it is necessary to make a rocker from a bar.

In this case, the tension of your web is provided by means of a spring. Put its lower loop on the transverse hairpin. The upper loop must be inserted into the adjusting screw, which changes the tension of the damper. All wooden blanks for a homemade machine are made of hard rock tree.

Since the jigsaw machine does not have the possibility of attaching a thin-section blade, you can redo the chip old saw, after drilling a hole in it and completing it with a screw with nut and clamping plate.

A vertical slot must be made in the rocker arm, into which a second steel plate must be inserted. It is attached to the rocker with screws. The upper part of the file must be attached to it in the same way as the lower part. To make it easier for you, you can take an old jigsaw to make a trimming plate.
