Best kite designs. Snake Gorynych from plastic bottles and foam master class How to make a snake from a hose

Garden figurines are important elements of garden decoration. But they are not cheap, the ideas presented for the garden will help you make chickens, hen, geese-swans from waste material- packages, plastic bottles.

DIY animals

Not everyone will guess that this motley hen and her fluffy chicks are made of plastic bags. It is very easy to make such crafts; further on we will tell you how to make a hare and a Christmas tree using this technique. Familiarize yourself with this section, then it will not be difficult for you to create an entire bird kingdom.

Before you make a hare, so white and fluffy, prepare everything you need, namely:
  • scissors;
  • cardboard;
  • plastic bags white;
  • 3 beads (2 eyes and nose);
  • glue.
First, you need to cut out 2 rings from cardboard, with which we will make pom-poms. It is also necessary to cut the bags into long thin stripes. To do this, fold them like an accordion and cut them into equal strips. Now put two cardboard rings together, wrap the first tape around them, then the second and so on. Do this until the strips of cellophane completely cover the rings.

Now cut the polyethylene between the two rings of cardboard along the outer edge. Place a rope between them and pull it tightly, tie it. You can insert the thread between the cardboard rings before wrapping them with ribbons.

Remove the cardboard parts and straighten the resulting pom-poms. This is what you should get. This is the body of an animal.

Make another pom-pom of the same size or slightly smaller; it will become the head of a hare, which is very interesting to make with your own hands. Tie the threads of both pompoms to connect the head and body of the animal.

To make the ears, cut a strip of cellophane 3 cm wide and twist it in the middle twice. Then fold in half and straighten.

Rewind the part with thread just below the middle, cut off the excess cellophane with scissors. Make the second ear in the same way, glue them and two beads in place of the eyes, and one as a nose.

Using smaller cardboard rings and strips from the bag, make 4 legs and glue them in place. The hare craft is ready. If you create it from packages purple, then your animal will look like in the photo.

Now you know how to make a bunny. In the same way, you can create a chicken with your own hands, as well as chickens and a rooster, and then place this bird kingdom on summer cottage, Houses. This will also be a great craft for kindergarten, which you can make together with your child.

Each chicken is made from plastic bags yellow color. The head is slightly smaller than the body. When the yellow pompoms are made, they need to be tied and glued together, and then the eyes of the chickens are glued on. To make the beak, cut out a small triangle from cardboard and glue a piece of red cellophane of the same shape and size onto it. Place one large side of the triangle on exactly the same opposite side, coated with glue. Use it to attach the beak to the head.

In the same way, a comb is made for teenage chickens and for chicken.

How to make a Christmas tree

To create a beautiful tree, you will also need plastic bags, but green. In addition to them, prepare for work:
  • compass;
  • ruler with circle patterns different sizes;
  • cardboard or paper;
  • glass beads or beads:
  • scissors;
  • threads;
  • strong thread;
  • ballpoint pen.
Using a compass, a ruler with round holes draw several circles of different diameters on cardboard or paper, place them on 2 plastic bags, outline and cut them out.

Find the center of each circle using a compass and place a dot here ballpoint pen. Here's how to make a Christmas tree with your own hands next.

To make the tree fluffy, use scissors to make fringe-shaped notches at the ends of the cellophane blanks.

Arrange the circles cut from the bag according to size and begin to collect them onto a thick thread. To prevent it from jumping out after piercing the cellophane, we first string a button onto a needle and thread. Alternate circles of cellophane with beads or glass beads, stringing 1 bead after each cellophane blank.

We start collecting a tree from the largest circle, ending with a small one. Decorate the top of your homemade Christmas tree with tinsel or a star bent from wire.

A snake that is easy to make with your own hands

After reading the previous section, you will understand how to make a snake. For this you also need to cut circles, but of the same size, so this product will take less time.

Fold each bag several times and stack one on top of the other. Lay a round cardboard template on top, cut it out. Do the same for the other colors.

Blanks can be strung on a thread, but it is better on a wire. Then it will be easy to give the snake different positions, for example, at the dacha, wrap it around a tree with such a craft and watch the reaction of the neighbors who came to the light.

The body of the snake is made of circles of the same diameter, and the face is made of circles gradually tapering towards the tongue. Place a cellophane blank on the end of the wire, which will become the reptile’s stinger.

Garden figures for the garden - chicken and rooster

Such a colorful bird figurine can also decorate your personal plot. But, first of all, you need to draw its outlines on a piece of paper. If you want a rooster or hen to show off in the clearing, use the top diagram. If you want a magpie, also made from plastic bags, hiding on a branch, then use the second design.

Now attach a wire to the outlines of the circuit, bend it along the contour of the drawing. The bird can be of any size - life-size, larger or smaller. Next, you need to wrap the resulting wire frame with plastic bags to give it volume, securing the structure with tape.

To make the chicken stable, you can make paws out of strong wire, screw them to the frame without creating bird fingers. Then you will pierce the ground with the wire, and the chicken will stand steady. We'll look at the second option a little later. But in any case, the wire for the legs should be attached to the frame immediately, before you add volume to the bird.

If you are making chicken for the home, then you can use newspaper or fabric to wrap the frame. For a street figurine, take only cellophane, otherwise others natural materials Once wet, they will begin to rot.

Now cut strips from the bags:

  • for the body - 3 cm wide;
  • for the head - 2 cm.
Try to make them as long as possible. Lay the first strip near you horizontally, step back from the top 1 cm and string it on a long wire.

When you finish decorating the first strip of cellophane in this way, string the second, third, and so on on the same wire. We start assembling this figurine for the garden with our own hands, which is so interesting to make, from the tail. Weave 5 braids of different lengths. Attach them with a stapler to the base of the tail, while the longest pigtail should be on top, and the smaller one should be below.

Also fasten the edge of the first tape from the bag at the tail with a stapler and wrap the bird with a cellophane ruffle. When you reach the chicken breast, decorate the ruffle in the form of a frill. Decorate the entire bird in this manner.

It's time to tell you how to make chicken feet using the second method. From thinner wire, twist 4 fingers, fixing them on the main thick wire for the legs. Fill this area with hot glue.

From a piece of plastic, cut out the comb and beak of the bird, using a heat gun, glue these parts into place. After some time, paint them the desired color. It remains to glue the eyes made of buttons and wrap the paws with packing tape. This is how beautiful birds make their craft.

Now you can arrange the figurines for the dacha that you made yourself: a chicken, a rooster, chickens, next to place Christmas trees that you also made with your own hands. Such crafts are durable, look great, and are made of waste material.

There are others interesting ideas for the dacha. If you want to place around decorative pond fabulous geese-swans, plastic bags will also help with this. You can also use trimmings of greenhouse film.

Figurines for the garden - geese-swans

This is the beauty you can get as a result.

You will need a few materials for this, namely:

  • aluminum wire;
  • 2 five-liter plastic bottles;
  • underlay for linoleum isolon;
  • white or transparent bags or plastic film 150 microns thick;
  • scissors;
  • scotch.
Bend the plastic bottle as shown in the photo. You can do it differently by cutting off one of its larger sides and laying it with the whole side up, giving it a curved shape.

Cut the isolon into strips and wrap them around the swan.

If you are making bird figurines like this for your dacha, then the option with isolon will be ideal. If you are creating a swan for your home, then you can wrap its frame with burlap or thick light-colored fabric. Wrap the bird with tape on top for strength.

Cut the bags or film into strips, and then use scissors to trim the long edge into a fringe. Start wrapping them around the swan from the tail. To ensure a strong attachment, periodically heat a screwdriver over a burner and burn the film so that it is soldered to the base of the figure. Do not heat the screwdriver too much so that it does not burn through everything.

Finish the design of the figurine for the dacha by attaching cellophane feathers to the head. Glue on the eyes and beak, which must be painted scarlet. The bird's wings are made from the two sides of a 5-liter canister. If you cut one out to create the bird's body, use that one. The wings should be semicircular at the top, and taper towards the other side.

They also need to be wrapped in film, attached to the base using a heated screwdriver or fork. Here's how to make a swan for your garden. You can create several of them and decorate your garden plot.

Other birds made with your own hands from bags for the garden

Such a bright, beautiful peacock is also made from ordinary garbage bags, but first you need to create a frame. As you can see, it is created according to almost the same principle. Several long pieces of wire are inserted into the neck of an open bottle; they form a tail at the back, and a neck and head at the front by intertwining. The film is stretched over two large feathers and one smaller one - the central one.

Then the frame is wrapped with a film 8-10 cm long cut into strips, which is decorated with fringe.

Using this technique, you can make other figurines for the garden, for example, these storks, which promise an addition to the family.

Openwork box

This wonderful thing is also made from garbage bags. Here is a list of the little things you will need to make it:
  • Trash bags;
  • thin wire in a sheath;
  • scissors;
  • hook;
  • beads or beads;
  • tape measure.
Unfold the package of bags, cut off the edge from the first one. Using scissors, cut it into 5 cm wide strips. Unroll each strip.

They will help you to make crocheting patterns for a square. This box will be created in exactly this shape. The presented diagram shows that it begins with the execution of a single crochet.

When the first ribbon ends, attach the next one to it like this.

For greater strength of the product, and in order to subsequently bend the part as needed, we weave in soft wire.

Now we knit the folds on the box. Having tied it to the desired height, we cut the wire and use single crochets to decorate the edge.

Pull the end of the package through inner part side wall, tie a knot and cut it off.

Next, focusing on the diagram, we knit the top of the box.

Then we create the curved part of the lid. Finally, we make the edge of the box lid wavy.

Work is done. All that remains is to sew beads or beads to the lid, and the box, made by yourself, is ready.

You can see how craft bags are cut by watching the video:

And here it is shown how to knit a basket from bags, which will also be useful at home and in the country:

Let's imagine the situation. We wake up on the morning of the first of January. Children unpack gifts and joyfully jump in anticipation of entertainment. And parents have only one desire - to eat salads and fall asleep again. We approach the table... and see bottles... Empty bottles... A lot of empty plastic bottles (of course from mineral water))). (Probably Santa Claus brought it as a gift)))
Collect everything and throw it in the trash?
No!!! We will entertain the children (at the same time awaken ourselves).
Let's make the symbol of the year - the Snake!

1. Making the “body”: Cut off the bottom of the bottles and remove the caps.

2. Using a lighter (candle, matches), lightly melt the edges of the cut to make it safe for children.

3. We make 2 holes in one of the lids, thread a rope (for me it turned out to be an elastic band - for greater elasticity of the structure) and tie it with a knot with inside.

4. Thread the other end of the rope (length of the rope = the length of all the bottles laid out in one line + a little more) into a knitting needle. (Although you can do without it)

5. Collecting beads: We string all the bottles on a rope, starting with thinner ones (0.5 l - 1.0 l) ending with wider ones (1.5 l - 2.0 l). We pass the rope through the neck and out into the cut bottom. The very first bead is screwed to the lid (from point 3)

6. Making the “head”: For this you will need a 5-liter plastic bottle. We cut out the bottom in it - the width of the hole is slightly larger than the width plastic bottles from the "body". We melt the edge.

7. Take 3 more bottles: Cut off the neck of 2 bottles and draw eyes on the white caps. We cut off the neck of another bottle with a margin and cut out the crown. We melt the edges.

8. In the “head” we make holes for the “eyes” and “crown”

9. Place the “eyes” in the cut holes (on the inside of the head) and secure them with lids on the outside. On the contrary, we insert the crown from the outside and fix it with the lid inside. From something red (for example, plastic corner for papers) cut out the tongue and screw it (with an elastic band, thread, wire) to the neck of the “head”.

10. Connect the “head” with the “body”. We pass the rope through the cut out bottom and out through the neck. We make 2 holes in the lid of a 5 liter bottle, thread a rope, tighten it thoroughly so that the entire structure comes together and tightens. We tie the rope in a knot on the inside of the lid, which we then screw to the neck of the canister.

11. The snake is ready! Cut out circles and diamonds from golden-colored self-adhesive paper. We give them to the children, and while they are decorating our beauty, we go to finish the salads.

And then we go for a walk.)))

Not only a child, but also any adult is breathtaking from the beauty of a kite soaring above the ground. Elegant, bright, colorful, in the shape of various animals, birds and objects - flying high, almost under the clouds, they are somewhat similar to ancient dragons. However, flying a kite will become even more interesting and exciting process, if you make it yourself. DIY kite - beautiful creative occupation for the whole family.

A little about the features and types of products

Kites are not only an excellent educational toy. The history of this product goes back many millennia, since the first mentions of it were found in the second century BC. China is considered the homeland of the snake, although at that time it was called the “dragon snake.” It was the kite in the form of a dragon - a winged fire-breathing and snake-like creature - that was the most popular. Kites were then made from pieces of silk and bamboo sticks.
In addition to their decorative function, snakes were used for military and combat purposes as signals or means of observation, and in our time they began to serve for the study of natural phenomena, and for conducting meteorological research, and for various scientific experiments. Today there are play kites, including children's toys, as well as large sports kites, created specifically for some extreme sports. It is very cool if a child is interested in such design and wonders how to make a kite with his own hands. Being carried away by such an activity, he will learn to fantasize and create, will develop his ingenuity and observation skills, will be able to independently understand the nature of some things, such as the strength and direction of the wind, the characteristics of atmospheric phenomena, etc. Then it is not enough to make it - you also need to know how fly a kite.
First you need to understand what types of products there are and what they consist of.

  • The simplest and most basic design is single-plane. Such a kite will not fly very high and will not withstand a snowstorm, but you can easily and quickly make it at home.
  • The multi-plane design will be a little more complicated. These snakes are highly resistant, and they are made into box-shaped (the box-shaped form was invented by L. Khagrav), and stacked, and multi-celled (when a large number of individual cells are connected in the form of parallelepipeds or tetrahedrons - tetrahedral structure).
  • What if you make a whole group kites and connect them into a single system, you get a group/composite structure or a “snake train”.

  • Any snake consists of essential basic elements:

    • frame - necessary to maintain the canvas in a taut position. The number and location of the slats that will form the kite determine its model and type;
    • the surface of the kite - it is this that will be pulled over the frame to create an obstacle to the air and produce an aerodynamic or lifting force;
    • if you want to make a collapsible product, then you will need connecting parts - depending on what size you are making it, as well as what materials you use for this, there are many various solutions and options for these parts;
    • the attachment point is called a binding or bridle - they can be different, for example, if it has one attachment point, then it will not require adjustment, because the tail will control the kite and set its angle of inclination. For a bridle with two or more attachment points, you will need to install a special adjusting ring and other parts that will allow you to properly control your kite;
    • if you want to make a keel, then it can replace your bridle with two attachment points, but then you will no longer be able to change the angle of attack, because it will only be fixed (to fix this, several tails are attached to the kite);
    • By the way, the tail is not only for beauty, since its task is to stabilize the product in the air and eliminate all the shortcomings of flight;
    • Don’t forget about the thread (it’s called a lifeline), which will hold your kite, preventing it from finally flying into the sky. Make sure that the thread is light but strong, plus it matches the size of the product. A winding spool will save you from the annoying tangling of the thread and the long process of winding and unwinding it, so try not to forget to get this accessory.

    There are also frameless snakes, that is, no frame is used to make them, and the snakes take on their shape only thanks to the wind. The most popular model of this type is the paraglider.

    Let's get started

    So, having understood all the subtleties and nuances, you can move on to practice. First, let's try to see how to make a paper kite at home. Such a product cannot boast of strength or durability, but you can learn how to make kites with it.

  • For production, you can use colored cardboard, decorative paper, colored tissue paper. It is best to work with a drawing or diagram, choosing the model you like.
  • Since the drawings are different, the final appearance of the products will also be different. You can cut out a diamond irregular shape(very elongated towards the bottom) or make snakes in the form of a polygon, etc.
  • You will need to glue the slats onto this base. Since we are working with paper, the slats should be light - thin wooden or plastic (no more than two centimeters wide). Even bamboo skewers are used for a children's play kite. You can attach it with tape or glue.
  • Attach the snake's tail, and also do not forget about the rope, which will need to be secured to a rack or reel.
  • The snake can be colored with felt-tip pens or paints, and decorated with ribbons. Such a kite can only fly if you run with it.

  • By the way, in the origami technique there is a basic form called a kite, since a paper figurine folded in this way is very reminiscent of a weightless flying beauty. If you are thinking about how to make a kite out of paper, start by assembling origami. A similar flat kite can be made from fabric or polyethylene, but with a more serious approach, so that ultimately it can actually fly:

    • place the center of gravity of the product body on its axis of symmetry (that longitudinal line that divides the body in half);
    • adjust the tail correctly so that you can calmly control the kite and carry out any maneuvers;
    • slings or fetters must be attached at strictly defined points and be carefully selected in length, since it is with their help that you can give the kite the most favorable angle of inclination of the body to the air flow, and therefore create the greatest lifting force;
    • if you do light kite, then know that it will rise to a great height, and with additional load (voluminous tails, decorations), on the contrary, it will not fly high.

    1 You can choose not only any model or size of your future product, but also its appearance, as well as design in general. For example, just imagine how majestic a kite in the form of a dragon or an eagle will look in the sky.

    Do not forget about the safety rules and precautions when flying a kite:

    • check how strong all connections are before starting;
    • Never fly a kite in a thunderstorm;
    • it's also unsafe to run around electrical wires, near railway, airfield, runway or highway;
    • Be sure to use a line spool or wear gloves, as in strong winds or rapid unwinding of the thread you can seriously injure your hands (it’s better not to grab the line with your hands at all).

    Well, you will learn how to control the flight of your kite in the very process. Having become proficient in making simple and flat products, if you wish, you can eventually try to make one like this complex design, like a box kite or multi-celled kite. Happy flight to your creations! Watch similar master classes:

    It's not just children who love flying a kite. For adults, a fun hobby allows them to return to a carefree time for a short time and feel the joy of flying. You can buy a finished product, but it is much more interesting to make a kite on a string with your own hands. Using available materials and drawings you can easily cope with this task.

    Types of kites you can make yourself

    In order to make a kite with your own hands, you need 5 things: basic labor skills, materials, drawings, desire and patience. All structures are made according to the same principle: a base with aerodynamic properties of different shapes and a rope. The kite can be flat and voluminous, simple or consisting of several links.

    Such a thing can be found in a store, but it will be a standard replicated version. It’s better to make a controlled kite yourself, and then fly it and enjoy the result.

    The first who came up with the idea of launching a structure in the form of a kite or dragon into the sky were the Chinese. They took up this fascinating business in the 5th century BC.

    Flat kite made of paper, nylon or polyethylene

    Together with your children, you can make a simple version of a homemade kite called “Monk”.

    1. Take a leaf thick paper any color A4 format. Place the lower right corner to the long left side so that it aligns with the short one. It turns out to be a triangle with an upper single part. Cut it off, unfold the sheet, you get a square.
    2. Mentally or with a pencil, draw a straight line between two opposite corners of the square - mark its axis.
    3. Bend the piece of paper so that the right and left sides of the square “lie” on its axis.
    4. Bend the corners twice upward according to the accordion principle.
    5. Glue a thread 30 cm long into the middle of the accordion on both sides. The result is a “bridle”.
    6. Tie a rope strictly in the center of the bridle to launch and control the kite.

    It is impossible to control a snake without a tail, so do not forget to make a rope from ribbons or threads intertwined and tied at the bottom with a tassel.

    1. Make 20 pieces of ordinary thread or 5–6 from wool. Their length for a small kite should be at least 50 cm.
    2. Place the cut pieces together and tie them with a tassel towards the end or braid them. You can decorate the tail with bows or paper triangles.
    3. Make a hole in the bottom corner of the kite, thread the tail through it and tie it in a knot or glue it.
    4. If you are using ribbons or strips of fabric instead of thread, thread them through the hole, fold them over, and hem the top to the bottom.

    In addition to their decorative and entertainment functions, the first kites in China were used in construction. With their help, ropes were thrown across reservoirs and ravines for the subsequent construction of bridges.

    Paper, fabric and wood construction

    Compared to the “Monk”, there are some complications in the manufacture of this kite. In addition to paper, you will need thin wooden slats and fabric.

    To make such a kite, prepare in advance:

    • 2 notebook sheets;
    • 3 slats (2 60 cm long, 1 – 40 cm);
    • durable nylon thread;
    • colored fabric.

    Diagram of a triangular kite made of polyethylene

    Triangular kite - another variety flat design, more difficult to manufacture. But the result of your work will definitely please you. The snake has a classic triangular shape, bright and very beautiful.

    Materials you will need:

    • plastic bag, better bright and dense;
    • slats (straight sticks made of bamboo, willow, linden, pine or just window beads);
    • rope or fishing line with a reel.

    Dimensions finished product depend on the size of the package and the height of the launcher. Use percentage notation as shown in the diagram. Decide which number is taken as 100%, and then use a calculator to calculate the specific values.

    For accurate marking, substitute your values and calculate the parameters of the kite in centimeters

    1. Cut out the “body” of the kite from the bag according to the drawing.
    2. Prepare 4 slats of appropriate sizes: two side slats of the same size, one long longitudinal and one short transverse.
    3. Secure with any glue first the side slats on the sides, then the longitudinal one in the middle, and finally the central transverse one.
    4. Attach a keel in the middle of the kite using tape.
    5. In the center of the lower part of the canvas, cut a hole into which to thread a tail made from scraps of bags.
    6. Tie one fishing line to each corner and fasten them together with a knot.
    7. Attach a fishing line with a reel to the resulting “bridle” for launching and control.

    Interesting fact. In ancient times, kites were used for military purposes: for reconnaissance, sending messages or gunpowder into enemy territory.

    Drawing of a diamond-shaped product

    This design is made according to the same principle as a triangular kite. You will need 2 slats (60 and 30 cm), a plastic bag, fishing line and tape.

    1. Fold the slats in a cross so that the short one intersects the long one at the height of one quarter of the total length.
    2. Tie them together with tape or rope.
    3. Place the resulting cross on a plastic bag.

      We measure right size and the shape of the future serpent

    4. Cut the fabric into a diamond shape, leaving a small margin.
    5. Pull it over the slatted cross, tuck the stock and glue or hem it.

      We wrap the kite crosspiece with a bag and cut it off

    6. Tie a fishing line to the intersection of the sticks and to the lower corner of the diamond. Just in case, give it a few turns and secure it well.

      We tie the fishing line to the intersection of the sticks

    7. Tie the fishing lines together with a knot to which attach the fishing line and reel. It turns out to be a bridle.
    8. Attach a tail, also cut from cellophane, to the end of the axial stick with tape.

    In order for a kite to fly well, its tail must be 10 times longer than its base.

    Interesting fact. In the 13th - 14th centuries, aerial structures were used to study natural phenomena and observe the weather.

    You can also use the diagram to make a kite.

    How to make a bird-shaped design

    To get a kite that resembles a bird in flight, use one trick: secure the string between the side parts. Under the pressure of the wind it will either stretch or weaken, making the structure “winged”.

    Necessary materials:

    • 8 sticks with a diameter of less than 1 cm and a length of 30.5 cm, 3 sticks of 91.5 cm and 3 of 150 cm from linden or pine;
    • nylon or polyethylene film;
    • fishing line;
    • coil.
    1. Place 150 cm long rods parallel to each other in front of you.
    2. Place a 91.5 cm stick across, 59.75 cm from the edge.
    3. Tie it with threads so that there is a distance of 30.5 cm between the first and second, and 61 cm between the second and third.
    4. Stepping back 30.5 cm to the larger side, apply a second stick 91.5 cm long.
    5. Tie 4 short slats at a distance of 30.5 cm from each other at an angle so that at the bottom they converge into a triangle (see diagram).
    6. Cover the closed ends of the short slats with the last 91.5 cm long slats. The result is a “manger” tied in the center of the structure.
    7. Tie everything together with threads coated with glue.
    8. Fasten the ends of long sticks that have been previously soaked in water. You need to wet them so that they do not break when bent.
    9. Stretch a fishing line between the ends of the “wings”.
    10. To make the “body” of the snake, cut out a pentagon from fabric (top and bottom sides are 30.5 cm each, height 91.5 cm + 2 cm for the hem). Make a square in the center with a side length of 30.5 cm.
    11. From the bottom corners of the square, measure 59.75 cm to the left and to the right.
    12. Draw segments from the ends of the top and bottom sides of the pentagon to the resulting points. The result was a canvas with a window in the middle.
    13. Sheath and glue the wooden frame of the kite.
    14. Additionally, cut out 4 inserts for the “manger”. Each size is 30.5 x 30.5 cm. Insert them into the “windows” and glue them.
    15. Make a tail from rope and leftover fabric, attach it to one side of the “manger”.
    16. On the other hand, make a bridle from two fishing lines tied together and tightly tie a thread with a reel (rail) to them.

    To ensure that the structure does not fall on one side and does not fall apart in the air, strictly adhere to the dimensions and firmly tie the parts together.

    It is problematic to fly such a kite alone, so call your comrades and get a surge of joy from launching the “bird” into the sky.

    Volumetric (box-shaped) kites

    To create a volumetric kite you will need:

    • wooden slats (window beads can be used) - 4 pcs. 1 m long and 6 60 cm;
    • large garbage bags;
    • a durable nylon harness on a spool from a hardware store;
    • scotch;
    • ruler;
    • square;
    • scissors;
    • glue.

    A voluminous kite flies high and beautifully, and you can make it yourself

    Secrets of a successful launch

    You can fly a kite alone, but this requires a certain skill. It’s more convenient and more fun to do it together. One holds a kite, the other a spool of fishing line or thread (rail). The main condition for a successful launch is the presence of wind from 3–4 m/s, as well as open space no trees or wires.

    1. The person holding the rope stands so that the wind blows at his back, unwinds 10–20 meters of rope and pulls it tight.
    2. The second one moves back the length of the rope, runs up and launches the kite. He must seize the moment and pull the rope.
    3. If the wind is not strong enough and the kite begins to lose height or cannot rise at all, the “leerman” will also have to run.

    If you want to have a great time and get creative with the whole family, make a kite. Making it yourself is not at all difficult. The spirit of unity, joy and fun will be a reward for the time and effort spent.

    Very interesting and beautiful things you can make garden crafts from plastic bottles and polyurethane foam. The site has already collected quite a collection various crafts for the garden made with your own hands from scrap materials (plastic bottles, twigs, old tires, etc.) Each craft on our website is original and unique. You can find the most simple ideas and more complex ones.
    Also, have you already met interesting crafts for the garden of Nadezhda Gulak, and today you will get acquainted with another work of this wonderful master - this is the Serpent Gorynych made from plastic bottles and polyurethane foam. Look how funny Gorynych turned out, I just want to quickly create something exactly like this for myself. Do not be afraid to create, only at first glance it may seem difficult. Even if you don’t succeed as you planned, I know for sure that your crafts will be unique in their own way.

    To make the Serpent Gorynych, we need:
    * Plastic bottles.
    * Polyurethane foam.
    * Wooden sticks.
    * Newspaper.
    * Tile adhesive.
    * PVA glue.
    * Primer.
    * Stone.
    * Scotch.
    * Cardboard.
    * Wire.
    * Bandage.
    * Nylon tights.
    * KAMAZ filter.

    How to make the Serpent Gorynych:
    To make the Serpent Gorynych, we need a KAMAZ filter; we insert three sticks of the length we need into it, stick a plastic bottle into it and foam it. You can make a frame from other available materials, depending on your imagination.

    Now we take 2.5 liter plastic bottles, cut them in half, make them shorter and put them together again (this is done so that the faces are smaller and not very elongated). Then we fix them on the frame, these will be the faces for our Serpent Gorynych.

    We take a stone and place it on the filter, this is done for the stability of our Gorynych. If there is a strong wind, then our craft will not fall and fly away. If there is no stone, find something heavy and replace it.

    We draw the location of the eyes, nostrils, etc. on plastic bottles.

    To reduce the consumption of mounting foam, we will add volume with the help of newspapers. We wrap Gorynych's body with newspapers and with the help of adhesive tape you can fix them.

    Now we will make ears from a plastic bottle. We cut small squares from a plastic bottle, round them and make ears. Using tape, we secure the ear so that it does not unfold. See the dimensions of the blanks yourself, because each craft will turn out to be different in size, some are large, some are small.

    We fix the finished ears on the top of the head))) We make small holes in the bottle and insert the finished ears there.

    We also cut out blanks from thick cardboard for making the tail and wings. We also fix them in the right place.

    For stability, we stick a wire - this will be the tail.

    We take nylon tights, fill them with scraps of polyurethane foam (waste left over from crafts) and make the stomach, legs and arms.

    Trim off excess foam.

    We take the wire and make fingers on our hands.

    Then we wrap them with a bandage and foam them.

    Wrap the entire craft with a bandage and then treat it with PVA glue + tile adhesive.

    This is how the Serpent Gorynych turned out from bottles and polyurethane foam.

    Now we cover our Gorynych with three layers of primer. Allow each layer to dry a little.

    The Serpent Gorynych is almost ready, we paint it with regular enamel, you can also use paint in spray cans. All Zmey Gorynych from plastic bottles and polyurethane foam is ready.

    You can give him something in his hands, for example a flower. Here, too, as your imagination tells you, or you can leave it unchanged, it turned out very beautiful.
