Options for a metal picket fence. A metal picket fence - characteristics, advantages and rules for do-it-yourself installation. Calculation of required materials

A metal picket fence is a modern alternative to its wooden counterpart. Material – galvanized steel sheets. A fence made from it can last up to 50 years.

Fence from metal picket fence– This is an excellent protective design and at the same time beautiful.

The installation of such a fence is in many ways similar to a wooden one and does not cause difficulties, and various ways fastening the planks allows you to build a unique-looking canvas.

Users often search:

To obtain the slats, steel sheets are rolled by a special press, giving them a relief. After this, strips of the same width and length are cut. The blanks are coated with a protective polymer layer and painted.

The material is called “Euro picket fence” because it is produced on European equipment in compliance with European standards.

The planks vary in shape, profile, coating, and metal thickness. Let's look at the features of each type separately.

By shape

They have a flat or figured top. With the latter, unusual, beautiful fences are obtained. In addition, the edges of the planks are rolled (bent) or not.

When choosing a picket fence for a fence, it is better to give preference to rolled edges, since you cannot cut yourself on them, which simplifies installation. But such planks cost an order of magnitude more than those with raw edges.

By profile

  1. U-shaped (rectangular). Has longitudinal profiling. The number of ribs or grooves may vary depending on the manufacturer. For a fence, a rectangular profile is considered sufficiently rigid if it has at least 3 stiffening ribs and the edges are rolled.
  2. M-shaped. The shape is longitudinally profiled in the center. The most durable profile option. The reason for this is a large number of ribs Often produced with this particular profile, rounded top and wide rolled edges.
  3. Semicircular. Due to the complexity of production, it is expensive. The rigidity is sufficient, but additional grooves can be formed to increase it.

Photo: U-shaped and M-shaped picket fence.

The more stiffening ribs a metal profile strip has, the more resistant the material is to bending along its length.

Modernized versions of the picket fence have 6, 12, 16 ribs.

The standard height of the strips is from 0.5 to 3 m, width – 8–12 cm.

If you decide to install a double-sided checkerboard fence, where there are practically no gaps, then it is recommended to take material with an M-shaped profile and rolled edges.

By metal thickness

It happens from 0.4 to 1.5 mm. With increasing steel thickness, the cost of the structure and its service life increase.

For a metal picket fence optimal thickness metal - 0.5 mm for a length of up to 2 m.

By coverage

The canvas has a protective zinc layer, but is also subject to painting, which can be:

  1. Polymer. Reliable coating. Made in production conditions using special equipment. If the technology is followed, such material can withstand any mechanical loads and temperature changes. Even if damaged, the surface does not rust and lasts a long time. Depending on the manufacturer, the warranty on the polymer coating ranges from 10 to 20 years. Large selection of shades.
  2. Poroshkov. This type of picket fence is cheaper, but the quality of the coating is lower. Of course, subject to compliance step-by-step technology it can last up to 10 years. But many manufacturers often neglect this and apply powder paint on top of metal that is not protected from corrosion. As a result, at the slightest scratch the surface begins to rust.

Unfortunately, when purchasing external signs It is impossible to determine the quality of the powder coating, so it is better not to pay twice and immediately buy a picket fence with a polymer layer of protection.

In addition, you can paint the planks yourself. To do this you will need roof paint and a spray gun.

If you want a fence with unique picture and texture, you will have to buy factory material.

A metal picket fence imitating wood is gaining popularity. Available shades:

  • nut;
  • cherries;
  • bog oak;
  • aspen;
  • cedar and others.

A good coating allows you to recognize metal only at close range.

Pros and cons of such a fence

Advantages:

  1. Long service life. The average service life of products exceeds 20 years.
  2. Resistance to moisture, temperature changes, corrosion.
  3. Does not require maintenance. Dirt is washed off the surface with water pressure from a hose.
  4. Factory metal picket fence does not need painting.
  5. Large selection of colors that do not fade in the sun.
  6. Beautiful appearance.
  7. Durability, resistance to mechanical damage.
  8. The price is lower than similar wooden planks.
  9. Does not require pre-processing, cutting or sanding.
  10. Unlike corrugated sheeting, it provides good air exchange and allows light to enter the area.
  11. Does not require repair.

Flaws:

  1. Before you start fastening the picket fence, you need to accurately calculate the step with which it will be mounted. The slightest mistake will ruin the appearance of the fence.
  2. When purchasing material with unrolled edges, there is a high risk of injury during installation and during use.

To build the fence, it is better to hire an assistant, this way you will significantly reduce installation time.

Methods for fixing pickets

If the design is needed for reliable protection house and will be located on the street side of the site, we recommend that you take into account that:

  1. To install a blank canvas and completely close the estate from prying eyes, you should buy pickets more than 1.8 m long, placing them from the ground at a distance of 3–5 cm.
  2. If visibility of the area is not important to you, then it is enough to purchase planks 1.5 or 1.25 m long and secure them with gaps.

Now let's look at what methods of fixing a picket fence are used more often.

Vertical

A generally accepted option for installing planks. For construction, you do not need to know special instructions and attach additional transverse joists to increase the rigidity of the structure.

Each plank is fixed in a vertical position to the joists with screws or rivets. This can be done with gaps in one row or you can design a blank canvas in the form of a checkerboard fence.

Horizontal

Not as popular as the previous type, but if you follow the instructions, the fence will be no less attractive.

Installing picket fences horizontally is much more difficult. It will be necessary to attach additional poles, which often must be of non-standard shape. If this is not done, the planks will begin to sag, which will lead to deformation of the entire structure.

And an increase in the amount of materials for construction means an increase in the total cost of the fence.

Checkerboard

Another name is double-row. The planks are mounted to the transverse joists on both sides so that they overlap each other by at least 1 cm. To do this, the step between the stripes is made slightly smaller than their width. The fence turns out to be almost continuous and what is happening on the site is visible only from a certain angle.

For a completely blank canvas, it is necessary that the pickets overlap each other by half.

The disadvantage of the checkerboard is the consumption of material by 1 linear meter increases by 50%.

In one row

An economical option for fastening picket fences, since the strips of material are fixed in one layer. Often gaps up to ⅔ of their width are left between the slats, but this is not critical. The step between the elements may be greater, or they may be attached closely.

Disadvantage: due to the gaps, the area remains completely visible.

Interesting design options for the top of structures

Most often found:

Less common is the design of the top line like a pyramid or wings.

The unusual spans will be complemented by a stone or brick base.

Calculation of the amount of material for the fence

It is carried out at the design stage of the structure. The future structure is schematically depicted on paper. The total length, the number of support pillars, and transverse joists are determined.

You need to calculate how much picket fence you will need after you have determined the height of the fence and the size of the installation step.

The volume of fasteners also depends on the amount of material. When fixing with self-tapping screws, 1 strip requires at least 2, and preferably 4, self-tapping screws.

Stages of installing a metal picket fence with your own hands

Let's consider the procedure for assembling a fence with posts made of profile pipes on strip foundation. We will need:

  • welding machine with protective mask, electrodes;
  • galvanized self-tapping screws (ordinary iron ones will quickly rust);
  • bayonet shovel;
  • profiled pipes for poles measuring 60*60 cm;
  • pipes for horizontal logs – 2*4 cm;
  • roulette;
  • plumb line;
  • boards for formwork;
  • cement, crushed stone, sand;
  • concrete mixer or construction mixer;
  • cord;
  • screwdriver;
  • screwdriver.

The entire amount of work can be done alone, but it is much easier to cope with the process together, so if possible, find an assistant.

Foundation

Upon completion preparatory stage you can start marking. It is performed using wooden pegs and rope. The pegs are driven into the ground at the locations of the supports, and a rope is stretched between them.

The foundation for such a fence is not only strip. But this type is more reliable, more durable and suitable for massive structures.

Installation of poles

If you choose metal supports, remember that they need protective treatment from corrosion, and to make them more beautiful, before installation it is recommended to paint them to match the picket fence.

Attaching the log

Square or rectangular pipes are used as transverse joists and welded to the posts.

Supports with ready-made holes for joists are available for sale. Then the fastening is done with bolts.

Photo: welding logs to metal poles

For fences up to 1.5 m high, two joists are enough. At higher heights, it is better to increase the number to three pieces. In this case, the fence will cope well with any wind loads.

The top of the pillars and the edges of the joists are protected with plugs, possibly plastic ones. This way, moisture will not get inside the pipes.

Installation of metal picket fence

There are 2 options for fixing the slats:

  1. Self-tapping screws. You should only take galvanized ones, otherwise regular ones will start to rust after the first rain. Each plank is fastened with self-tapping screws to horizontal joists on both edges. If there are two lags, then 4 screws are enough for 1 plank. When there are 3 of them, you need 6 screws. The number of fastening elements may be less, but in this case the fence will be easy to disassemble. The advantage of self-tapping screws is the speed of assembly. The disadvantage is that they are easily unscrewed, which makes it easier for intruders to enter the site.
  2. With rivets. The installation principle and number of parts are similar to the previous type, but take longer. In this case, it will be possible to dismantle the fence only with inside site, and the outer part of the structure remains completely protected.

Regardless of the chosen type, all fastening elements are matched to the color of the picket fence.

For a transparent fence, the slats are fixed at a distance of up to 5 cm; for a solid fence, they must overlap each other by at least 30%.

A garden fence made of metal picket fence fits best into the image of a relaxation corner. Simple and unpretentious in shape, it is perfect for fencing the site and for the front of the house. This example of a metal fence is still relatively rare on the market. But for the construction of euro-fences (metal pickets), there are already several options for constructing fences with great design and interesting implementation.

Beautiful hedge of a private house

The use of metal elements as the basis of a fence, support pillars or piles for fencing personal plots and summer cottages has been known for a long time. But a metal picket fence as the main material for spans is a relatively new and quite interesting idea.
A fence picket is a shaped metal strip with stiffening ribs and holes for fastenings.

Fence with brick pillars

The dimensions of such strips may vary slightly depending on technical specifications manufacturer. The basis of production is galvanized rolled steel or profiled sheets with a thickness of 0.8 to 2 mm.

The length of the slats, depending on the purpose of the fence, can be from 0.25 to 2 meters.

The range of manufacturers includes the following varieties:

  • unpainted galvanized material;
  • painted plain type of panels;
  • types of wood picket fence;
  • shaped types;
  • anti-vandal types of material.

And this is just one of the varieties

Options and their forms

Fences made of metal picket fences or European picket fences are just one of the types of fencing. In fact, types of metal picket fence include:

  • made of profiled galvanized steel;
  • pieces of structural reinforcement, square, circle or strip up to 25 mm wide;
  • strips made of profile pipes of different sections;
  • coated.

Each of the presented types of material has its own characteristics both in terms of installation and in the form of the profile of the plates, the shape of the upper part, and the method of fastening.

According to the shape of sheet steel slats, the most popular type of material among summer residents, they are:

  • semicircular shape;
  • U-shaped;
  • M-shaped;
  • rectangular shape;
  • strips with rolled ends;
  • classic.

Decorative hedge option

For those who decide to make a picket fence with their own hands, the following points will be important:

  1. On the websites of large manufacturers for picket fences, the calculator will allow you to calculate all necessary elements structures including fasteners.
  2. The consultant will assist in the search necessary information and will tell you how to calculate individual nodes and elements.
  3. Photos of the most successful fences with metal picket fences will tell you how to choose the right project, choose the material and how to carry out the basic operations.

Painting methods

A fence made from unpainted metal plates is much cheaper than one made from polymer-coated plates.

Unpainted elements are painted:

  • with a paint brush by hand;
  • using a compressor or spray gun.

Painting is done in two or three stages: the first is priming, the second is enamel painting, and the third is varnishing.

Possible variety of colors and patterns

Types of such fences

Among possible types classifications of fences are worth highlighting:

  • according to the method of installation of the frame, support pillars and planks;
  • by type of base and support pillars;
  • according to the type of filling of sections between the columns.

Installation methods

Installation of a metal picket fence has several ways of attaching the slats to the fence frame. In one case, the technology involves mounting on cross bars how it is attached. In another case, you can attach a metal picket fence to the frame in special seats.

Vertical checkerboard

A metal fence for a house with a sparse arrangement of plates is installed on a slatted base of two slats - upper and lower. This installation option is universal; it can also be used under a fence, when the plates are installed in a checkerboard pattern.

Dimensions and distances

The design elements taken into account are:

  • the total size of the building - length, ;
  • the size of functional elements, such as a wicket, metal picket gates: their width and height, the number of leaves and the method of opening;
  • supports, their size and installation method.

Multi-colored option

When calculating how to make a metal fence and how much material it will take, you can take the standard option as a basis, the diagram of which provides:

  • span width - 2.5-3 meters;
  • height - 2 meters;
  • number of transverse logs per section 40x20 mm - 2 pieces;
  • support made of pipe 60x60 mm, height 3.2-3.4 meters;
  • the number of units of material 100 mm wide in a sparse version with a gap of 80 mm with double-sided fastening is 12 pieces per 1 linear meter.

The fence goes well with brick pillars

Types of Fills

The calculation will be incomplete without the fact that options for filling the spans may make adjustments to the final calculation. Types of filling may include:

  • straight single barrier;
  • double-sided installation option;
  • installation at an angle;
  • installation at an angle, two-sided;
  • installation of a type of blinds made of metal material;
  • single installation with back wall from corrugated sheet (used mainly for gates);
  • non-standard scheme with changing the angle of inclination.

Installation features

So, how to make a fence from a metal picket fence with your own hands, you need to understand in detail. Fences, gates and gates made of picket fences in a checkerboard pattern have a wider gap between the plates. This is done through the use of elements with a width of 10 or even 12 cm. In this case, the calculation and installation must be made as accurately and accurately as possible so that all distances are maintained both in the width of the gap and in the height of the installation of the plates.

A beautiful hedge option for a private home

To install a metal picket fence, you will definitely need a screwdriver with a set of bits, an electric drill with drills and a level. The presence of these tools and the ability to work with them determine the features of the installation of all elements.

Installation

How to make a fence from a metal picket fence? The best option prefabricated structure protrudes a fence made of metal picket fence on screw piles. For a more ceremonial version of the fence, it can be the construction of fences with brickwork as a base and design of pillars. For both cases, universal techniques and work methods are used, shown in the video of the installation of supports and frames.

Installation is quite quick

Construction of the base and installation of the frame

According to the layout of the site, a fence installation line with space for entrance gate and gates. Further work proceeds according to plan:

  1. Installation sites are being marked.
  2. The foundation pit for the supports is being torn out.
  3. The pillars and foundation of the spans are concreted.
  4. The cross members are welded to the metal of the posts.
  5. The frame is being painted.
  6. Brick supports are being erected.

Fencing installation diagram

The frame for the fence is shown in the photo below. It can also be mounted on stilts.

Installation work

Set of spans

The set of spans begins with marking using the level of plate mounting points.

The first plates are installed from the edges of the span at the same distance from. The distance between them is divided by the number of slats and the equal distance of spans between them.

Another option for installation

Installation of each element is carried out after checking the distance in the upper and lower parts between the plates. The double version is installed first from the outside and then from the inside. For more details about the set of spans, see the video.

Fencing of household plots or summer cottages is needed in order to prevent any unwanted entry into the territory of his property by the owner, as well as by hooligans. One of the main functions of fences is also to define the boundaries of property owned by the owners. A picket fence made entirely of metal parts will serve as a reliable barrier and decoration of the estate. It will not be difficult to install such a structure yourself, because all the main parts are manufactured in production and are available for free sale.

Wooden slats for building fences have been used for a long time; it was inexpensive, so everything was built from wood. The development of industry and the improvement of the well-being of citizens makes it possible today to build fences from stronger, more durable materials. Wood has become more expensive, and people's aesthetic views on certain things have changed.

The population owning country houses and dachas, metal fences became popular. Many factors speak in favor of metal picket fences:

  • decorative appearance - uniform painting (any colors), adherence to exact dimensions, textured profile, rolling of the upper ends of the planks (rounding or other artistic trimming);
  • high strength and durability - metal strips do not rot like wooden ones, they are more resistant to rain and snow, in production all metal is treated with an anti-corrosion coating, which allows you to avoid painting for many years, such a fence will last at least 30 years;
Metal picket fence
  • affordable price- V different regions, which is natural, the cost may differ, we will not talk about it specifically, but it must be said that compared to other types of materials (brick), metal has become much cheaper and more accessible;
  • installation time - all lightweight design, does not require much physical effort to assemble, no special skills are needed (as with brickwork), one person with the help of a helper can install a fence 100 meters long within 2 days.

Attention! Before you start building a picket fence, correctly calculate the number of support posts and slats. If you have difficulty with this issue, check out the video that tells you how to do it correctly.

Recommendations and step-by-step (step-by-step) instructions for installing a fence

In any construction, a clear orientation is needed in the sequence of work. During installation work related to the installation of a picket fence, you must adhere to the following order:

  1. Correctly calculate the amount of required material: support pillars (round or square), the length of transverse logs of rectangular cross-section, vertical metal strips, fasteners.
  2. Dig holes for the posts or drill them to a depth of 1-1.5 m, prepare cement to strengthen the posts if the soil in the area is loose.
  3. Purchase ready-made fence components in a specialized store or order directly from a workshop that produces them.

The preparatory work is completed, you can begin assembly. We start by installing the pillars. Pour a layer of coarse or small crushed stone into the prepared (drilled) holes, using building level install columns. At this stage, if the supports are to be concreted, fill them with mortar; if not, then fill them with crushed stone and earth and compact them thoroughly.

Advice. Further installation, if the support posts were concreted, should be carried out only on next day, to concrete mortar managed to grab it properly. The upper parts of the racks must be covered from possible rain with moisture-proof material.

Basic fence assembly

The first stage of assembling the fence is the installation of a frame for attaching metal strips; it consists of upper and lower crossbars:

  • using welding or bolts, the lower crossbars are installed at a height of 30 cm from the ground level;
  • the upper logs are reinforced 50 cm below the upper edge of the pillars.

The second stage is to attach the picket fence to the frame:

  • mark (make marks with a marker) places on the transverse joists for uniform distribution of picket fence strips;
  • The planks are fastened in the designated places with two bolts at the bottom, two at the top, to the corresponding logs.

What will be the step between the fence slats is an individual question; each owner, based on his interests, determines it independently. According to average indicators, the distance is 5 cm, but it can be either more (10 cm) or less (2 cm). The fence can be solid, without gaps, one-sided or two-sided. When the pickets are arranged in 2 rows with a pitch of 8 cm, the fence will be almost blank.

In summer cottages where plants require good lighting, it is recommended to create an increased gap between the picket fence. This will also help significantly reduce the cost of purchasing fencing material.

The height of the picket fence according to the European standard is 150, 180 and 200 centimeters, but upon individual order, carried out at a specialized enterprise, the length of the strips can be any. Painting and special anti-corrosion coating are also carried out at the request of the customer; they can be single- or double-sided.

The owner of an estate or summer cottage needs to do a lot of things, and a lot of money is spent on this. Doing some of this work with your own hands is not only beneficial in order to save the family budget, but it brings moral satisfaction to the owner, faith in one’s abilities, and pride in oneself. The family will be proud that this wonderful picket fence was made by their father, husband, that is, the head of the family.

Metal picket fence: video

Making a fence from a metal picket fence with your own hands is not a difficult task. For many years, galvanized fences have been used in urban and suburban areas, where they have proven themselves to be strong and durable structures. A metal picket fence is a fairly simple structure that you can build yourself at a minimum of cost. Money, time and effort. The main thing is to arm yourself with certain knowledge and tools.

Ready-made fencing option

Picket fence

This is the most suitable hedge for a home. Garden fences made of metal picket fences look good.

Its popularity is easy to explain:

  1. Inexpensive type of fencing, affordable for any wallet.
  2. The structure is simple, familiar, laconic.
  3. Metal fencing is suitable for urban and private plots.
  4. Making such an iron fence is easy.

A garden fence made of a metal picket fence must be high enough and strong, and also serve decorative purposes. For residential building owners, the main thing is protection from intrusion and aesthetics. It can be intended for decorative purposes or as a fence for a vacation spot for summer residents.

Execution options

Metal picket fence - a laconic fence without additional decorative elements and design delights.

But the types of metal picket fence and its shape are different:

  1. Euro picket fence "Volna". Sections of such a fence are fastened so that the top line is first ascending and then descending. This makes a beautiful fence.
  2. Euro picket fence “Gorka” - the top forms an ascending line that rises smoothly. Considered a classic type of fencing, the design is universal.
  3. Metal picket fence “Concave arc” - the upper edge forms a smooth descending line, the width of the gaps is the same. The fence will fit into both urban and suburban landscapes. These fences are universal.
  4. Metal picket fence “Herringbone” - the original design of the top edge is suitable for a wooden country house.

Options and shapes of metal picket fences

In addition to the main types of metal picket fence presented, there are other varieties:

  • canyon;
  • peaks;
  • shuttered fences.

Ladder - comparatively the new kind, fencing of this type has a place in any landscape. Blinds from metal profile- a new product in the construction industry.

Features of the fence

A metal fence is made from a rectangular or semicircular profile. Metal thickness – more than 0.5 mm. The spans are covered with a layer of galvanization for an anti-corrosion effect.

The photo shows a metal picket fence.

Metal picket fence

The fence is lightweight and does not require a foundation for its installation. You can build a fence without complicated earthworks and strengthening existing structure unlike a fence made of corrugated sheets.

Must be concreted for strength support pillars on which the logs are attached. More can be done robust construction on stilts.

For weather resistance, the metal is coated with protective materials: polyester, polyester. The coating will give a beautiful glossy finish and resistance to fading. The diagram will show you how to paint it correctly.

The fence has long term operation without additional maintenance.

The strength is comparable to welded structures, and making an inexpensive fence from a picket fence is not difficult.

Color options

A metal picket fence is painted using one-sided or two-sided painting.

The back side is covered only with a layer of primer, the front side is covered with paint. This option looks good in summer cottages; it is suitable for lovers of calm tones.

If important bright look fencing on each side, choose options with double-sided coating.

Fences are painted with polymer or powder dye, as for products made from corrugated sheets.

Painted fence

When using polymer coating, technology must be followed. A fence with such protection can withstand almost any mechanical impact. If a scratch appears, the metal will not rust, since it has additional protection. Reviews about this method of painting are the most positive.

Powder coating is no less durable if done using technology, but it costs less. The first layer is protective, applied to the picket fence, the second is powder. All layers are baked in special chambers.

Powder coating is often imitated by unscrupulous manufacturers, whose products rust at the slightest damage. Polymer coating cannot be done using a homemade method, so it is of higher quality. You only need to buy a fence with a high-quality coating.

Types of metal picket fences

Fences of this type differ in the installation method, the size of the spans and the gaps between the structural elements. Their device is not the most complicated.

Fence installation methods

The metal fence is mounted on supports, which we install in the following ways:

  • concreting;
  • butting with crushed stone;
  • driving into the ground;
  • combined installation.

Installation diagram for fencing with brick pillars

Concreting is the most reliable way to install support pillars. Used in unstable soils. The height of the support is not less than 1 m.

The photo shows a fence made of Euro picket fence.

Distance between slats

Butting with crushed stone occurs on denser soils, when driving pillars alone will not be enough. You can strengthen the support with brick chips.

Driving into the soil is used for heavy soils. The supports are buried in the ground to a depth of 1 m and compacted in the holes made. If the soil is not too dense, then it will be more reliable to concrete the supports. The height of the pillar is at least 1 m.

Installation of a fence in the soil

Dimensions and distances

There are no standards for fence spacing. The distance is made for decorative and practical reasons. A large gap between the profile is used in decorative fences. The distance between the slats is calculated by taking into account the width of one profile. The smaller the size, the thicker the fence. However, you should not make a fence without gaps.

The size of one span is chosen taking into account the perimeter of the fenced area.

The height is chosen taking into account individual characteristics landscape and preferences of the owner of the house.

The checkerboard arrangement of the picket fence is popular despite the high consumption of material. The checkerboard fence seems solid; it is impossible to see the territory behind the fence.

Double-sided fence installation method

The combined (double) filling method preserves the view of the surrounding area. Some are filled out unilaterally, some are filled out in a checkerboard pattern. The size of the gaps is the same so that the fence looks organic. A double-sided palisade often encloses summer cottages. You can make a continuous fence like this. This type of metal picket fence is shown in the photo below.

Installation of supports

First, markings are made for mounting the support. Digging holes required depth and width in accordance with the dimensions of the pillar. Reinforce with posts as long as the structure requires.

Drawing for installing a fence

Two profiles twisted together are used as support. You can make a fence from a metal picket fence on screw piles. Instead of profiles they take profile pipe. If desired, make a masonry of brick pillars for a metal picket fence.

Then the foundation supports are leveled. Fill the prepared depressions in the soil with cement solution and fix the supports. Installation continues after the solution has completely dried, this is about two days. You can substitute brick supports for fixation.

Scheme for installing a fence

As soon as the supports are concreted, the transverse joists are attached. A quarter of a meter is retreated from the uppermost point of the support and a mark is made. Carry out similar markings on other pillars using a level.

The fastening secures the upper cross member to the base. The lower strips are mounted to the metal in the same way; the size of the indentation from the ground should be at least half a meter. The gate is sheathed separately. You can attach a metal picket fence.
