How to make your own spinner. How to make a do-it-yourself spinner without a bearing: the best master classes. What is included in the device of this device? Spinner consists of

Spinners entered the mass fashion not so long ago, but in just a few months they won the hearts of not only adults, but also children. Today, spinners are spinning everywhere: on the street, at work, in the subway and even in kindergarten! And every child wants his toy to be somehow different from those that his peers already have. You can buy an original spinner, but such a toy is not cheap, and the search for a unique spinner takes a lot of time. The best decision- Make your own spinner.

So, we bring to your attention a few simple ways to make a do-it-yourself spinner from the materials that every home has.

1. How to make a spinner from plastic caps?

Materials: caps from any plastic bottles of the same size (4 pcs), plasticine, hot melt adhesive, nail, scissors, lighter and toothpick.

What do we have to do: put plasticine in 3 covers, use hot glue to seal the remaining space of the covers. Take the fourth cap (without plasticine) and make a hole in it, for example, with a heated nail. Glue the caps with sand to the one where you just made a hole. Take a glue stick and cut 2 small pieces (1 cm) from it. Break the toothpick in half and put a piece of glue on one end of it (make sure that the sharp tip of the toothpick does not stick out) and place it in the center of your future spinner. WITH reverse side put the remaining piece of glue stick on the tip of the toothpick. Your spinner is ready!

For more interesting view you can paint the lids in different colors acrylic paints.

2. How to make a cardboard spinner?

Materials: caps from plastic bottles, cardboard, scissors, a marker, an awl or nail scissors, glue, 3 coins and a pen rod.

What do we have to do: using the covers, draw 4 circles on the cardboard in the shape of your future spinner. After that, cut out 5 such blanks and glue them together, carefully gluing the edges. Next, cut out smaller circles. Using an awl or thin nail scissors, make a hole in the center of the spinner. Glue 3 coins or any stickers on the sides of the blanks.

Next, take the set aside pen stem and carefully cut off 1 cm from it. Make small holes in the center on two small circles. Insert the cut piece from the pen shaft into one of the circles and glue it along the edges of the hole to fix it securely. Insert this circle into the center of your spinner and glue the second circle on the back. The two remaining small circles can be glued over the ends of the rod. To make your spinner spin faster, place some kind of spacer between the blank of the spinner itself and the small circles (in our example, we used metal pendants).

Ready! Let the child decorate his spinner as he wants, you can use sparkles, stickers, rhinestones and other decorations.

3. How to make a spinner using bearings?

Materials: bearings (3 pcs), screed clamps, glue gun or superglue (for a more complex spinner).

What do we have to do: Wrap cable ties around the bearings on all sides. Cut off the extra clamps and that's it - the spinner is ready!

To make it more bright and attractive, you can make the design more complex. Take 7 bearings, place 6 of them around the seventh. You will not use all 7 bearings, you will only need 3 circular and 1 central. You need the rest of the bearings only for accurate measurement, so we will leave only those that form a triangle. Glue everything the right details by using glue gun or superglue. Spinner is ready! Decorate the spinner however you like. You can glue fluffy wire, apply glue on the sides of the spinner and cover the edges with sparkles.

Be sure, no one will have such spinners as your child has!

Spinner is a very popular thing among teenagers and adults. It helps to concentrate thoughts, relax, relieve psychological stress. You can buy a spinner in almost any store, but it is much more interesting to make it yourself. Below you will find instructions for assembling different do-it-yourself spinners.

How to make a do-it-yourself spinner - a simple spinner

In order to make a simple one with your own hands, you will need the following materials:

  • 5-6 bearings.
  • Ties.
  • We lay out the bearings in length, tightly pressing against each other.
  • We connect 3 ties in the shape of a triangle.
  • We dress the figure obtained from the screeds on the bearings.
  • Tighten the bearing on one side so that they tightly fit the bearings. Trim the protruding tails. The resulting design should look like caterpillars.
  • We take 2 more ties, tighten them vertically, along the edges of the second bearing. Trim the protruding tails.

Spinner is ready.

How to make a do-it-yourself spinner - star spinner

In order to make a spinner star with your own hands, you will need the following materials:

  • 4 bearings.
  • Super glue.
  • Threads.
  • Sandpaper.
  • Soda.

We perform the following simple steps:

  • We lay out the bearings as follows: two bearings are vertically tightly pressed against each other, the other two are on the sides of the second vertical one.

  • We clean the spinners with sandpaper in the place where we will glue.
  • We glue the spinners in the form that was originally set, sprinkle the gluing places with soda for greater strength.

  • We wind the joints of the bearings with threads.

  • We also put super glue on the threads so that they do not unwind.
  • Spinner is ready.

How to make a do-it-yourself wooden spinner

In order to make a wooden spinner with your own hands, you will need the following materials:

  • A piece of wood.
  • Drill.
  • 3 bearings.
  • Sandpaper.
  • Pencil.
  • Saw.

We perform the following simple steps:

  • We put three bearings on a piece of wood, at an equal distance from each other.
  • Draw around the bearings with a pencil.
  • We connect the resulting circles so that we get a figure with the shape of a caterpillar.

  • We retreat half a centimeter from the caterpillar and draw the shape of the future spinner.
  • We drill circles with the expectation that the bearings sit tightly in them.
  • Cut out the resulting shape.

  • We clean the resulting form with sandpaper, get rid of sharp corners and a splinter.
  • Insert bearings.

Spinner is ready. If desired, you can always paint it in any color with a spray gun.

Teenagers, children and older people have a fashionable twist toy today - especially the ever-tiring and tense "office plankton". The spinner is designed to relieve stress, occupy a person for a while, distract from sad and heavy thoughts, and at the same time train "sleight of hand". Today - at the peak of popularity - a spinner can be bought in almost any store. But you can also make a twister with your own hands from improvised materials and various garbage. It won't take much time and effort.

What is a spinner?

To understand what to start, you need to understand what a spinner is and “what it is eaten with”.

A fashionable toy has many names: spinner, hand spinner, fidget spinner, hand spinner. It is a figure with three blades arranged radially.

In the center is a metal bearing holding them.

The toy is made of materials such as titanium, copper, brass, stainless steel, plastic. Depending on the material and design of the spinner depends on the speed and duration of its rotation, the vibration of the sound that comes from it.

The spinner was invented in the 90s of the twentieth century, but gained popularity only in 2017. At first, a funny spinner went around all the schools of the world - students performed various tricks with a spinner during breaks. They were even banned from American schools on the grounds that spinning games distracted children from their studies and prevented them from concentrating.

Then the "wonder-twist" crawled into the offices. Some believe that it can help you concentrate or, on the contrary, relax, as, for example, a spinning top or a yo-yo helped before. Forbes called the spinner "the must-have office toy of 2017."

To "be in trend" - you need to have it. So let's get to work!

Easy ways to make a spinner from improvised materials

Experienced life hackers have long come up with ways to make a spinner from what is at hand. All materials are used, such elementary things as cardboard, plastic caps (from soda), buttons, coins.

Despite the fact that the price of a toy does not exceed a few dollars (the average cost in Moscow is 250 rubles), craftsmen do not stop trying to create something creative “of their own”. Again, "so that I can eat my hands."

Spinner made of plastic caps

This is a simple craft, which, however, will require some effort and diligence.

The work will need:

  1. Four covers.
  2. Glue stick and gun.
  3. Plasticine or kinetic sand (if available at home).
  4. Toothpick.
  5. Nail or needle.
  6. Lighter
  7. Scissors.

Sand or plasticine is alternately placed in three bottle caps - to the top. This is done so that the blades are heavy, so the spinner will spin.

The remaining space must be carefully filled with a glue gun.

A hole is made in the remaining lid (using a heated knitting needle or nail) - exactly in the center.

Then three petal covers are laid out around the base with a hole. There should be the same distance between them. How to check? Put another similar cover between them.

All three parts are glued with a glue gun.

Two pieces of 1 cm each are cut off from the glue stick. One is put on the base of the toothpick, it is passed into the center of the toy. The second end also needs to be "secured" with a rod.

The spinner can be beautifully decorated, for example, painted with acrylic paints, they fit well on plastic. homemade spinner ready!

step-by-step instruction

Cardboard spinner without bearing

For the manufacture of this toy, again, materials that are difficult to work with or those that cannot be found will not be required.

Necessary:

  • cardboard;
  • spinner template;
  • 3 coins;
  • glue;
  • rod from the handle;
  • awl;
  • decoration materials (paints, rhinestones, etc.)

The most difficult thing is to find a ready-made spinner template. This can be done on the Internet, or you can draw it yourself using a marker and the same plastic cover(or coins, or buttons) - just lay them out side by side and circle them.

For work, you will need two pieces of cardboard.

You will also need 4 smaller circles (for example, circle a coin of a smaller denomination).

Coins are attached to one of the templates with glue - each on its own blade. These are weights. They should be slightly smaller than the diameter of each circle.

From above, the coins are coated with glue and a second blank template is glued.

A hole is made in the center of the resulting cardboard spinner. It is necessary to insert the rod from the handle into it and cut it off - 1 cm is enough.

In two circles of smaller diameter, a hole is also made.

The other two remain untouched.

Before proceeding with the final work, the toy must be painted. fit conventional paints- watercolor, gouache - or markers.

You can show your imagination and make a bright model out of a turntable, for example, matching the color to your favorite super-heroes.

Can be used for decorating rhinestones, Velcro and other elements. They sit on the glue, but should not interfere with the game with the turntable.

How is a spinner collected? A rod is inserted into one of the small circles. It is necessary to smear its base with glue, insert it into the hole in the toy and press it on top with a second circle.

The remaining two circles are attached outside so that the rod is not visible, and the toy lies comfortably in the hand.

Spinner is ready!

step-by-step instruction

There are many other options for making a spinner at home, but the ones presented here are the simplest. Even a child can cope with such a task.

Conclusion:

Spinner is a trendy anti-stress toy today. To be in trend, you can make a turntable with your own hands. This does not require money - all the materials can be found at home - just a little free time.

Good day to all. In this article I will show you how to do simple toy twist - spinner. Everything is done very simply, and most Materials are available free of charge.

For this we need:

  • Shells 5.45 (I got mine at the shooting range, although you can find them at any training ground or order them online).
  • ABEC 5 bearing (Ideally, ABEC 7 was obtained from the wheel of an old skateboard, you can also find it in a car shop or order it on AliExpress).
  • Wooden block (Any hard rock wood, in this case walnut).
  • Epoxy resin (To glue it all together is ideal).

After everything is prepared, we will start manufacturing. By using step drill drill a hole of the required diameter for the bearing.

We clamp the sleeves into the drill chuck and at low speeds, leaning sandpaper, we begin to grind them, until the paint is completely removed.

We remove the anthers from the bearing, clean it by sprinkling liberally with WD-40
Next, we coat the edges of the bearing with epoxy resin, press it into a bar, and only after that we drill the side holes for the sleeves.
This is done so that the bar does not burst, because. In my case, the walls turned out to be rather thin.

In the end, I still decided to put the drill aside and expand the holes with an engraver to the desired diameter. We glue the sleeves together (still the same epoxy resin), we also coat the holes in the bar with epoxy and press in the sleeves. We leave it all to dry for 6 hours and as a result we enjoy a simple hand-made toy.

On the Internet, I found that spinners are made from unnecessary bearings.

What is a Spinner?

At the end of 2016 new trend swallowed America. A little more and our countries will also not be silent from English word Spinner, literally - rotator. They write on the Internet that this is a very effective tool for self-regulation, that it should be used to relieve feelings of anxiety and to calm down, to reduce stress and excitement. Also, the toy will help increase tactile sensitivity and develop fine motor skills fingers, which in turn contributes to the concentration of attention, the development of intellectual abilities, and the strengthening of memory. In short, a spinner is an anti-stress.
Looking at various options, I came up with and drew my own. And now I want to share with you instructions for creating a spinner.

We make a spinner with our own hands

Print and cut out the drawing of the spinner.

Glue the cut stencil to a piece of 10 mm plywood. The thickness of the plywood should be equal to or slightly greater than the width of the bearing. Using a jigsaw, cut the workpiece along the contour. On this stage the main thing is to carefully cut out the concave surfaces, because in the future they are the most difficult to process. It is also desirable to cut curved surfaces as close to the contour as possible, but since it is easier for them to get close with any tool, this is not so critical.

To increase the moment of inertia, it is necessary to provide weights. by the most simple option, in my opinion, are coins glued to each other. For 10 mm plywood, 8 10-kopeck coins must be glued together. Since 2 outer coins will be decorated, for now we are making weights from 6 coins.

We level the inner surfaces of the workpiece with a drill. The outer surface is carefully and quickly brought to the contour with a grinder with a grinding wheel. All remaining irregularities are removed manually with sandpaper.

We place and drill centering holes. First, we drill holes for the bearing and weights on the tree. I use a 608 bearing with a 22mm OD, so I drill the center hole with a 20mm pen. And the diameter of a 10-kopeck coin is 17.4, so I drill the outer holes with a pen with a diameter of 16 mm. In order not to damage the outer layer, it is necessary to drill holes to the middle, and then, having unfolded the workpiece, continue on the other side. You can use any bearing you like, it is not necessary to take the same one as mine.

With a drill, we bring all the holes to the required diameters. The main thing is that the bearing has an interference fit, otherwise it will have to be glued. The holes for the weights need to be made so that coins can easily pass through them.
To facilitate the design, we will remove the rounding radii around the entire perimeter of the workpiece. I did not foresee this moment in advance, so I had to apply the borders manually. In the new version of the drawing, this defect has already been corrected. If someone wants to make their spinner even lighter, then you can cut the blank for this very contour.
Having completely finished with grinding, we proceed to puttying. It is necessary to cover the part with putty in order to completely hide all the irregularities, and also so that after painting it is not clear what the spinner is made of.
While the putty dries, prepare the top coins for painting. Gently so as not to tear off the skin from the fingers we grind upper layer from 6 coins. The easiest way to do this is from the nominal side. You might as well put the coins halfway in a vise and go through them with a file, and then turn them over and go through them again.
In two layers, paint the coins with a yellow spray. Let the paint dry a little between coats. When the putty dries, we grind off the unnecessary layer with fine-grained sandpaper. It is also necessary to remove all the putty from the surface of the holes, otherwise, when the bearing and coins are pressed in, it will fall off and an unpainted layer will be visible.

Having completely processed the part, we cover it in two layers with black spray paint.

After all the parts have dried, proceed to the assembly. On the one hand, we insert 3 decorative coins into the case. On the other hand, we apply super-glue from the press-in weighting agents. In this case, the main thing is that the first coin does not fly out, otherwise you can stain the case with glue, as well as scratch it. We apply more superglue and press in the remaining coins, while holding the coins on the other side.
Before installing the bearing in its place, we insert a wooden chop for holders into its inner hole. The chopstick should fit snugly and protrude from the body by 1 millimeter on each side. Press the bearing into the seat.
In principle, the spinor is ready and works fine, but you need to hide the bearing with something. I made these plastic medallions and glued them to the chopstick. If you want to do something similar, you can cut two disks out of plywood. Well, if you are too lazy to bother, you can use two coins or buttons as holders.
Before testing the spinner, be sure to let the glue dry completely.
That's it, the spinner is ready!

It turned out to be a very original trinket to keep your hands busy with something. In addition, I can say with confidence that neither you nor your friends have ever seen anything like this before, so you can surprise with such a thing and, albeit not for long, attract the attention of others. I, in turn, am pleased that I found some use for an ownerless bearing. Later, I’ll probably make a two-blade spinner out of the second bearing. If you are interested in this topic, write about it in the comments and I will definitely make another instruction.
