Connect pieces of pipes made of polypropylene using diffusion welding. Although there are a lot of methods for fastening two parts, the rest are not able to provide a reliable connection:

Compression joint. The pipe is compressed, which over time will necessarily lead to deformation and leakage.
Thread. Weak side methods when using polypropylene pipes - the mechanical strength of the connection.
Press connection. It is sometimes used for polypropylene pipes, but the rubber seal can change its position, which will lead to a leak in the connection. Here we are talking about external loads to the pipeline.

The only reliable option is heating polypropylene to a certain temperature by welding, followed by cooling and "sealing" the joint. Of course, this method is applicable to pipelines that are used to transport gases, chemically aggressive substances or water. different temperatures. In our case, we are talking about crafts. Pipes are not used for their intended purpose, so you can, as an exception, use any other technique or use glue and even bolts.
In the pipeline, as a rule, each fragment is fastened tightly, that is, without counting on subsequent disassembly. For connection, fittings are used - special parts that are used in the assembly of the pipeline and provide a hermetic fixation of two fragments of the system.
