Ceiling choice of material and technology. What material is better to make a stretch ceiling from? The winner in the “Best Stretch Ceilings” category is...

If you have decided on the type and color, shape and design, material and texture of the tension fabric, the question remains: how to choose a manufacturer and installation organization. Remember, when choosing suspended ceilings, quality is the main criterion.

This product has been produced in European countries for quite a long time. A large number of serious companies competing with each other, quality problems were successfully resolved. Therefore, if you did not receive a fake, then you will not have any claims against the manufacturer.

  • Relatively recently, canvases began to be produced in Russia, Ukraine, and China (see). Their advantage (perhaps the only one) is their lower price.
  • Products Russian production have a guarantee of up to 5 years (foreign ones - up to 15), they are thicker and therefore heavier (more deflection over a significant length).
  • Colored coatings produced in Russia are made mainly in light (pastel) colors with a small selection of textures, and the seams on PVC sheets are quite noticeable.

Production

Advice! If you need an inexpensive white ceiling for a small space, you can choose a fairly high-quality Russian product.

The leaders in the production of this product are the French (ZAK DU PLATEAU), followed by the Germans (LAGFOLIE). These are not the only foreign manufacturers.

What you need to know when choosing coverage

So, how to determine quality:

  • (including compliance with SES standards).

Certificate fire safety stretch fabric. What documents are needed

  • The material should not contain phenol or compounds containing it (they are used in low-quality ceiling plasticizers). If they are, then there is a threat to your health (phenol will be released during operation).
  • If the structure is white, it should be a “warm” white, not a bluish, “cool” shade. High-quality films only come in “warm” white color.

What are the best paintings?

  • To the touch, the “correct” ceiling looks like fabric, and not like a plastic bag - it does not rustle.
  • The glossy texture should resemble a mirror; poor quality material has low reflectivity.

  • Glossy films from European manufacturers are “stitched” from panels 1.8 m wide, matte films (satin) – 2.7 m. “Chinese analogue” – 3.3 m.
  • Material high-quality coating doesn't have unpleasant odor(it smells, of course, but the smell will soon disappear after installation).

  • A good ceiling should be complete (preferably aluminum, reinforced, with a harpoon system for mounting the sheet).

Video instructions for choosing a ceiling:

There is a way to check the quality suspended ceilings, ordered according to your dimensions from a foreign manufacturer (especially if you are going to install them yourself).

Note:

  • All components will be packed in boxes with branded stickers.

In the photo - the packaging is covered with tape with the manufacturer’s logo

  • You will receive a printed contract, and not an inkjet printer on “tissue” paper.
  • The company logo must be on the warranty card– the manufacturer and all its details (many companies use holographic images to protect against counterfeiting).

  • Quality certificates for the supplied products will be attached to the contract.
  • On the official website of the manufacturer, you can view samples of documents attached to the order.

Selecting specialists for installation

Poor installation can render all your efforts in selecting excellent material useless.

  • It is better to contact a company that has already proven itself in the market for these services, has specialists with experience, and is able to demonstrate to you the finished result of their activities.
  • You can ask the opinion of friends and relatives who have already installed suspended ceilings.
  • A professional measurer, taking the dimensions of the room, will advise you not only on the optimal ceiling material for your case, but also the direction and location of the seams, the type of lamps, baguettes and other components. If you are offered everything at the “highest level” without seeing the premises and interior, you should look for another company.
  • Professional installation organizations provide a guarantee not only for materials, but also for work performed.

High-quality suspended ceilings, with correct installation, requires minimal maintenance, can be easily repaired if necessary, and will delight you for many years.

However, such diversity gives rise to the problem of choice: material, color, texture, manufacturer of the stretch fabric...

We have done a tremendous amount of work and systematized in one article the 5 main factors that need to be considered before purchasing a canvas.

And, first of all, which suspended ceiling to choose should be decided based on whether a particular material is pleasant to you and whether its characteristics suit the room.

Here are the conclusions we came to.

1.
2.
3.
4.

1. How to choose the material of suspended ceilings depending on the characteristics of the room?

The most popular materials for the manufacture of suspended ceilings are polyvinyl chloride(PVC) canvas and polymer fabric.

Which material is better to choose depends on:

(a) Indoor microclimate:

PVC film Textile
Low temperature At temperatures below 5°C, it loses elasticity and may warp or crack. Not afraid of low temperatures
Heat Even when heated once to 70°C or higher, it deforms, becomes soft, and stretches. Not afraid of high temperatures
High illumination Does not fade for 10 years or longer. The color of the coating under normal conditions lasts up to 30 years Does not fade for 10 years or longer
Humidity Not afraid of water, so suitable for baths and kitchens It spoils when damp appearance, the fabric may stretch
Draft On large-sized canvases, waves may appear in a draft or when opening/closing a door Waves rarely form on large canvases

Note: high-quality film and fabric ceiling sheets do not support combustion. They lose their shape, melt, but quickly die out after contact with the flame ceases. They acquire this property after impregnation with fire retardants. Cheap materials burn well and are therefore dangerous.

The anti-fire properties of the fabric are confirmed fire certificates. If there is no such certificate, it is better to choose a more expensive canvas.

(b) Room width

Depending on the type of suspended ceilings in terms of width and quality of material, they are divided into economy and premium classes.

Standard width of PVC ceiling films:

  • Russian made– 1.4 m. These are glossy, matte, colored canvases of the economy segment, which are produced under the C-light and Eline brands at the Kazan and Ivanovo artificial leather factories.
  • Made in China– up to 6 m. There are about a dozen factories of Asian companies in China. In addition, the production facilities of some Belgian and Italian brands are located here, so there is no need to be afraid of buying Chinese fabrics. PVC film up to 3.5 m wide belongs to the economy segment, from 3.5 to 6 m – to the premium class.
  • French made– up to 1.5 m if the film is glossy, and up to 2 m if it is matte. These brands are Alcor Draka, Extenzo and CTN. All film produced by the French most often belongs to the premium class (costs 2 - 2.5 times more expensive than the economy segment). On the back side of French-made PVC film there are holograms from the manufacturer or serial numbers canvases
  • German made– up to 2.7 m. Fabrics of this width are produced by Pongs Textil GmbH. You can distinguish the film produced at its factories by the embossed brand name and the presence of a repair kit decorated with the factory’s mark. The Renolit company produces narrower films – up to 2 m wide.
  • Belgian production– from 3.6 to 5.6 m. This is the Polyplast brand, which offers glossy, matte and satin films in more than 120 shades.

Please note: all original film and fabric sheets are supplied with quality and fire safety certificates. If there are no such certificates, then they are offering you a fake.

Standard width of fabric rolls for ceilings:

  • French made– 2.1 – 5.1 m. The Clipso brand is matte stretch ceilings made of knitted fabric, Weight Limit of which – 240 g/sq.m. m.
  • German made– up to 5.1 m. This is the Deskor brand, most of whose canvases belong to the economy segment.
  • Swiss made– up to 5 m. The premium brand Cerutti produces polyester fabric sheets coated on both sides with a polymer composition that protects them from leaks and damage. On top of a polymer coating with wrong side A waterproof varnish is applied, and a finishing varnish is applied to the front, which protects against dirt, dust, and splashes. As a result, the tension structure looks almost like suspended ceiling from plasterboard.

(c) Design solutions

In this case, which stretch ceiling is better - fabric or PVC - depends on the project developed by the designer.

Polyvinyl chloride film is used:

  • in multi-level structures;
  • to create complex patterns and shapes;
  • on ceilings that will have to be reupholstered over time (for example, the owners of the premises like to frequently refresh the interior);
  • when installing ceiling structures of the “starry sky” type, when the ceiling covering is pierced with dozens of LEDs about 0.5 mm thick;
  • in a design with glossy or mirror elements.

Fabric used:

  • when creating classic interiors;
  • in rooms with constantly open windows (due to drafts, the film will “play”);
  • in spacious rooms when you need to avoid seams on the ceiling;
  • if the ceiling is installed in a room from which furniture and other interior items cannot be removed. PVC film heats up during installation, so there is a risk of damaging furniture polish or glass;
  • in rooms where the temperature periodically drops below 5 – 10°C.

(d) Features of the operation of the premises

PVC film Textile
Removing contaminants Easy to clean with a soft cotton, fleece or microfiber cloth. Under normal conditions (except for the kitchen), you can wipe it once every 3 years with water or a weak solution. detergent. Acetone is prohibited Not washable, dirt is difficult to remove. You can use a weak solution of detergent or alcohol. Acetone cannot be used
Puncture resistance Afraid of punctures (with a fishing rod, bullets from children's pistols) and cuts (with a construction knife when trimming wallpaper) Resistant to punctures and minor cuts
Impact resistance Resistant to impacts from blunt objects (reviews on forums indicate that New Year's champagne corks do not leave any marks on them) Resistant to impacts from blunt objects
Flooding with water Not afraid of flooding. Withstands 100 liters (10 buckets) of water per 1 sq. m of ceiling, preventing water from entering the room. Restores shape after water is removed Retains water up to 72 hours. After drying, stains remain from substances dissolved in water (rust, plaster), so the fabric needs to be repainted or replaced
The appearance of reflections, glare Glossy or mirror PVC surfaces reflect glare from working TVs and monitors Matte fabric surfaces do not reflect glare

In one of the experiments, a PVC ceiling film with an area of 10.5 square meters. m withstood more than 500 liters (50 buckets) of water.

When the canvas held about 120 liters (12 buckets) of water, several holes appeared, from which droplets began to ooze.

Nevertheless, the canvas did not burst, but continued to sag under the ever-increasing weight. Stretch like a drum, the film broke only upon contact with uneven surface floor.

Note: If you are flooded, you should not pierce the canvas to drain the water. You need to shut off the flow of water, and then move everything that has accumulated to the nearest hole for the lamp. To do this, it is best to call the craftsmen so that after draining the water, they dry the space between the film and the ceiling with a hair dryer.

Summary: Which manufacturer is better, for example, Belgium or Germany, can only be decided taking into account the specific project, width, texture and other properties of the canvas.

  • PVC films protect the room from flooding from above, are easy to clean, are not afraid of impacts from blunt objects, allow repeated installation, and are used to create multi-level structures and complex geometric shapes.
  • Fabric sheets They are not afraid of temperature changes, drafts, do not glare, look expensive (sometimes like drywall), and ensure seamless installation even in spacious rooms. Both types are quality ceiling coverings retain their properties for 10 years or longer, are fireproof and aesthetically pleasing.

Now let's look at real reviews about PVC and fabric stretch ceilings.

Let's start with film ceilings. Here is one of the reviews:

And here’s what the master who does the installation only says: fabric stretch fabrics:

2. We evaluate the seams and texture

Polyvinyl chloride film offers hundreds of colors, mirror effects, metallic effects, glossy, matte, satin textures, bright images and the ability to create unusual lighting solutions. PVC sheets are either solid or welded.

They are welded when:

  • the width of one strip of film is not enough to cover the required area;
  • the design involves a combination of two or more colors.

Welded PVC sheets are as strong as seamless ones. To connect 2 films of different colors, they are placed on top of each other and placed under an electrode, which presses on them with a force of 600 kg. A current is passed through the films compressed with such force. Under such conditions, the films are soldered at the molecular level, and subsequently the seam is the strongest point of the PVC ceiling.

Weld seams are visible on monochromatic surfaces, if you look at them from a certain angle. If you make the stretch ceiling multi-colored, no one will pay attention to the seams, because they will turn into a decorative element.

The fabric ceiling fabric consists of polyester threads impregnated with polyurethane. Simply put, it is a synthetic fabric impregnated with rubber. It looks like ordinary fabric - it seems soft and pleasant to the touch. You can order a canvas with a ready-made design or decorate it with photo printing of personally selected pictures.

Fabric ceilings - usually seamless. The seams on such surfaces are clearly visible, so they need to be presented as design elements: made symmetrical, hidden with lamps, or placed in the middle.

Note: PVC and fabric ceiling canvas with photo printing can be used to decorate walls and openings. It is mounted using the same technology as the ceiling one.

Summary: PVC canvases provide a much greater variety of colors and textures, while fabric ones allow you to avoid seams. A good seam does not weaken the structure; on the contrary, it is the strongest in this area.

3. How to choose suspended ceiling material for different rooms?

To determine which suspended ceiling is best to choose for the kitchen, living room, bedroom and other rooms, you need to remember what happens most often in this room and how this can affect the condition of the ceiling.

Peculiarities PVC ceiling Fabric ceiling
Kitchen Cooking and guiding others kitchen work: oil splashes, increased soiling, humidity from sink PVC film can be cleaned from dust, grease, it is not afraid of moisture, so any type of canvas and method of its installation is suitable Contamination is difficult to wash off, prolonged exposure to moisture is undesirable, so a fabric ceiling is not suitable for the kitchen
Separation of areas for cooking and eating Multi-level design with different types lighting: above work area– bright, above the dining room – subdued
Bedroom Calm, relaxing interior Plain or matte or glossy fabric decorated with photo printing, preferably seamless, mirror fabrics can be used Satin or silk canvas, plain or with photo printing, with imitation of materials suitable for the style
Children's Special “childish” atmosphere, increased likelihood of puncture or rupture A canvas decorated with photo printing, consisting of several parts. This solution is optimal in terms of replacement - if one part of the canvas is broken, you can only replace it, and not the entire ceiling Canvas decorated with photo printing. If it is damaged, you will have to replace the entire ceiling
Living room Possibility of glare from the TV Any canvas that suits the design. If the appearance of glare is undesirable, glossy canvases are excluded
Corridor Small space, possible punctures from fishing rods and other objects Any canvas that suits the design Any canvas that suits the design
Bathroom, toilet Small area, high humidity The ceiling in the bathroom allows for any experiments with textures and colors. Not afraid of moisture

Since suspended ceilings are most often installed last, when the repair is almost complete, you need to check how the design and texture of the canvas combines with the wallpaper or paint on the walls.

You can finally decide which stretch ceiling is better: matte, glossy or satin, only by looking at samples of materials “live”. Even best photo may incorrectly convey the shade or texture of the canvas.

Expert advice: A punctured or cut stretch ceiling can be saved. The most important thing is to seal the hole with tape as quickly as possible so that the film or fabric does not come apart. If the hole is small (up to approximately 5 cm in diameter or length), the master will be able to cover it with a lamp or decorative element. If the hole is large, the canvas will have to be re-tightened.

Summary: PVC films are suitable for any premises, even with such difficult microclimatic conditions as the kitchen and bathroom. It is better to install fabric ceilings in spacious rooms with a “calm” atmosphere in the living room and bedroom. For the bedroom it is better to choose a seamless fabric.

4. How does the fastening system affect the price and durability of suspended ceilings?

PVC and fabric stretch ceilings are attached in different ways:

Fastening method For which ceilings is it used? Advantages Flaws
Harpoon PVC Low price;
Easy installation/disassembly;
Can be re-installed
It will not be possible to mount an entire insert on curved walls;
You need to carefully select the color of the insert
Besshchelevoy PVC There is no gap between the ceiling and the wall;
No insert needed;
You can join the ceiling sheet with plasterboard or tiles
High price
Klinova PVC, fabric
Budget cost
After some time, the canvas may sag
Clip-on Textile Canvas tension can be adjusted;
Can be reused;
Easy installation/disassembly
High price

Note: When installing a ceiling, choose energy-saving lamps that do not heat up.

The maximum power of light bulbs for PVC ceilings is 35 W.

More powerful ceiling lamps will melt the film. It is also better not to overheat the fabric. The light should be directed downwards or to the side, and the light bulb itself should be no closer than 10 cm to the ceiling surface.

Summary: saving on fastening materials at the stage of installing a stretch ceiling will increase the cost of the structure in the future. More expensive fasteners are easier to install and hold the canvas better. When replacing the canvas, it can be reused.

Choose the best stretch ceilings and share your impressions in the comments!

Which stretch ceiling to choose? The answer seems to be simple. Either film or fabric.

Which suspended ceilings are good and which are not so good? The properties of both types have already been reviewed inside and out by the experts of our portal (see article). Fabric ones are stronger, but film ones are better to wash. The first ones are seamless, but the second ones can be glossy or “satin”, and not just matte. Fabric-based ceilings deteriorate from contact with water, PVC - from contact with heating devices. Etc.

Therefore, the question: “Which stretch ceilings are the best?” — is hardly legal. Logic dictates that a combined solution is optimal. Let’s say there are PVC stretch ceilings in the kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

For children's rooms, fabric ones are a must - on their matte surface the effects of slingshot fire, ball hits, etc. will be less noticeable. In addition, it is believed that they are more environmentally friendly and make it easier to breathe.

For an unheated loggia, fabric ones are also used: they tolerate low temperatures better. Both in the sauna and in the bathhouse - again, fabric ones: they tolerate high temperatures better.

In an “adult” bedroom, in a living room, in an office – it doesn’t matter. Many of the experts from the forums believe that executive premises need gloss: a greater impression on guests. So, PVC.

But in the bedroom the gloss will be annoying. Needed there matte ceiling or “satin”, reminiscent of cowhide leather in texture. The same goes to the office. But even here personal preferences decide!

Matte stretch ceiling in the living room

So, having surveyed and sorted our possessions, we come to the question: is the choice really so narrow? What material should you choose for stretch ceilings for the hall, and what material for the bathroom? Which manufacturer? What invoice, at what price?

Fabric ceilings

There are only 3 brands of woven-based stretch ceilings in the world. This is Germanic Descor, Italian Cerutti and Swiss Clipso. Moreover, ceilings under the Descor brand are produced both in China and, there are suspicions, in Russia. How closely they correspond to the original is unknown.

About quality. It is believed that Cerutti, thanks to its multilayer structure, retains water no worse than film ceilings. Italian products can be used in bathrooms. But it is more expensive than Descor.

Stretch fabric ceiling Descor

Clipso is even more expensive. It makes sense to buy Swiss ceilings if there are special requirements for sound insulation, antiseptics, etc. The Swiss company makes something exclusive.

But if you just need a high-quality ceiling for a bedroom or living room, then Descor is quite suitable. By the way, a call to retailers on May 27, 2014 showed us that German woven fabric can be purchased at retail for only 255 rubles/m2.

Film stretch ceilings

The French are considered pioneers and trendsetters in the development and use of suspended ceilings.

Stretch ceilings CTN

The company CTN (Creation et Technique Nouvelles - “New Design and Technology”) is a pioneer in the business of producing and selling suspended ceilings. The products of this company are a recognized standard, and everything good about stretch ceilings can be safely attributed to products under this brand. The only problem is that the French produce film in relatively narrow rolls - 1.5-2.2 m wide. So in a wide room, the high quality of the film can be slightly compromised by a barely noticeable seam in the middle of the ceiling...

Stretch film ceiling CTN

Approximate prices for CTN film (within a stretch, but excluding additional work and materials, in rubles per sq. m according to the website price http://potolok-montazh.ru/potolok-PVH/proizvoditeli/ctn /)

Prices are indicated for matte, satin and opal panels with a width of 2.2 m, glossy - 1.7 m

Stretch ceilings CEF

Another well-deserved “Frenchman” in the stretch ceilings market is the CEF company. Work experience – more than 35 years. All production is concentrated in France, in the town of Laval. The trick is the development of a “suede-like” texture. The minus is the narrowness of the canvas: 1.5 m.

Stretch film ceiling CEF

CEF products are quite expensive: prices (see price list on the website http://potolok-montazh.ru/potolok-PVH/proizvoditeli/cef ) start from 590 rub. per sq. m of film, branded “suede” panels cost 830 rubles/m², including installation - both white and color.

Stretch ceilings Alkor Draka

Products under this brand are manufactured in the Netherlands, France and Brazil. Therefore, they are more often called “Dutch”, less often “French”, but for some reason they are not called “Brazilian”.

A distinctive feature is the increased film thickness - 0.18-0.40 mm. In this connection - the ability to withstand pressure of up to 150 liters of water per square meter. m of ceiling.

Stretch film ceiling Alkor Draka

The problem is the same as that of CTN: a relatively narrow roll: 1.65 m. The canvas is not intended for extreme Russian winters: it loses its qualities when negative temperatures. But the company’s specialists have developed textures for suede, marble, leather and a number of others.

Prices for Alkor Draka stretch ceilings (see price list on the website http://concordtorg.ru/obrazci-potolkov ) are not scary. The table below shows the cost of the material along with installation in residential premises, including the design of corners, pipes and lighting fixtures(rub./sq. meter)

Stretch ceilings Pongs

German suspended ceilings are in no way inferior to French ones, but are quoted slightly lower on the market. Apparently, they lack the elegance that the “Manufacturee de France” label gives to the product.

One of the German industry leaders, the Pongs company, turned 100 years old in 2013. The main advantage of Pongs ceilings over French ones is their greater width. Size range of rolls in width – 150; 200; 220; 300 cm. But the wider the roll, the more expensive the sq. m. meter of material. There is information that the production of Extrawidth rolls with a width of 380 cm has begun.

Stretch film ceiling Pongs

Prices (in rubles) per sq. meter of Pongs film (see price list on the website http://potolok-montazh.ru/potolok-PVH/proizvoditeli/pongs ) together with installation, but without additional work and materials, depending on texture, color and width

Texture and color Width, cm
150 200 220 300
Matte white 470 550
Matte color460 520 600
Satin white 420 550
Colored satin 520 640
Gloss white 470 490
Gloss colored510 600 630
Marble1000

An additional benefit is better cold resistance. The fabrics can withstand temperatures down to -5°C. Due to its decent thickness - 0.18 mm - good strength.

Stretch ceilings Renolit (Germany)

There is a suspicion that the efforts of the specialists of this company focused on creating fabrics with increased elasticity and various mirror effects. Film from Renolit AG is probably the best choice for connoisseurs of visual effects. But... high quality finishing material affects its price (see price list on the website http://potolok-montazh.ru/potolok-PVH/proizvoditeli/renolit ). The table below shows the cost of the material along with the stretch in rubles/sq. m. It is 15-20 percent higher than that of Pongs.

Renolit stretch film ceiling

Stretch ceilings Malpensa

The Italian enterprise for the production of suspended ceilings was established in 2008. It produces canvases of one standard width - 220 cm. Film thickness - 0.18 mm. The main advantage compared to French and German manufacturers is prices. This can be easily seen from the table below (prices are indicated according to the price list http://potolok-montazh.ru/potolok-PVH/proizvoditeli/malpensa in rubles/m² at a stretch, but without costs for additional services and materials).

Stretch film ceiling Malpensa

How are savings achieved, if not through quality, is the question!

Polyplast stretch ceilings

The Belgian company Polyplast is the record holder among European manufacturers for the width of the fabric produced - up to 5.2 m (in the stretched state - all 5.5 m). The main drawback is only White color panels

All production is carried out in China, which explains the relatively low price of the product (prices are indicated according to the website price list http://nebosvod.su ) - only 260 rub./m² without installation. True, in connection with this move, there are rumors about a reduction in film thickness to 0.13 mm compared to the generally accepted 0.18 mm in Europe. However, advertising brochures claim that Polyplast stretch ceilings can withstand a pressure of 100 liters of water per square meter. m and temperature changes from -40°C to +80°C.

Gline stretch ceilings

Gline stretch ceilings are the best ones produced in China. Their quality is not inferior to European ones, but their width reaches 5.6 m. These are truly seamless film ceilings.

Alas, the prices for Gline products are not lower than European ones. Or maybe even higher (the table shows prices in rubles/sq. m for film with stretch, but without additional work and services).

The only problem with Gline ceilings is that Asian film often has a thickness of 0.13 mm - 0.05 mm less than what is customary in Europe. This may affect the strength characteristics of the ceilings.

Russian stretch ceilings

Produced in Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod. The main thing is that their base price is 160 rubles. per sq. m. film.

Why? One can only guess.

Experts say that thanks to the large thickness of domestic film, Russian ceilings are incredibly durable - up to 30 years! Supposedly they have good environmental friendliness and can withstand frosts down to 25° (although most advertising brochures indicate a more modest range from -5°C to +40°C).

Stretch film ceiling made in Kazan

The main disadvantage is the narrow stripe: only 140 cm. And the low quality of the color: stains are possible, etc.

In general, it is an ideal material for finishing mediocre departmental premises: all sorts of “Housing Construction Norm Controls”, etc.

Which suspended ceilings are best to choose?

Now that you know the main manufacturers of suspended ceilings, the characteristics and prices of their products, you can competently judge how to choose suspended ceilings. At the same time, one should hardly ask the question: “Which stretch ceiling is better?” Some better quality, others have the price.

What are they and in what cases are they used? Read the information sheet on our portal

They say it's really gorgeous mirror surface Only French manufacturers provide it, but the German company Renolit also has its own twist. Think that fabric ceilings They are inferior to film ones in that they cannot be removed and hung again, but there are craftsmen who do this repeatedly.

Stretch film ceiling produced in Nizhny Novgorod

It is difficult to rely even on expert reviews on which stretch ceilings are better. For some people, for example, the smell of freshly laid ceilings is unbearable, and they smell it for years, while others, on the contrary, like this smell.

Although most experts believe that a sharp and long-lasting smell is just a sign of a “left-handed” ceiling produced with deviations from technology.

Perhaps the best choice of suspended ceilings will be helped by reviews on the forum, but it may be advisable to watch the video (at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BQS1b5f2I0 ), how to choose suspended ceilings. Or just look at the video (see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wR8YOeti84 ), what stretch ceilings look like.
