This is due to the high content of volatile substances in the needles, which activate the protective functions of the body.

The construction of such wooden house will be able to decorate the cottage and also successfully fit into the interior country house or villas.

Before starting work, you need to decide with the exact size of the house. Decide if there will be additional elements, like slides, terraces, stairs, and take this into account when drawing up a drawing.

When drawing up a drawing, consider not only doors and windows, but also interior decoration, external decorative elements(if they are planned). When choosing sizes, remember that children grow quickly and interior decoration, as well as the size of the children's house, should take this into account.

What you should pay special attention to:

When choosing the size of the doors, consider the height of the child. Doorway it is necessary to make the height of the child not less than 400 mm. And the wall covering, in order to avoid injuries and abrasions, must be absolutely smooth and even. For the same reason, the roof must be made gable, and not even. Then the child will not be tempted to climb on it.

And collect wooden house ik with your own hands can be armed with a screwdriver, tape measure, hacksaw and level. Subsequently, such Orphanage ik can be sheathed with vinyl, which will greatly improve its appearance.

The Basics: Building the Foundation

Any construction starts with building foundation . To do this, before starting work, mark the installation site, according to the drawing, on the territory of the playground. Getting Started:

 1. With four pegs (40 cm in height) and twine, we place the future location of the house.
 2. In the corners of the marked area, we dig holes 100 cm deep. They will be needed for the support bars. we make the same holes at the locations of the pillars, for installing windows and doors. Always refer to the drawing to avoid unpleasant surprises.
 3. Before installation, all installed wooden bars must be carefully treated with impregnation from decay.
 4. We fill the finished pits with crushed stone to a height of 150 mm. Then a beam is installed on it.
 5. The installed supports are poured with cement. At this stage, construction must be interrupted until the cement base is completely dry. This will take approximately a week.

Floor and wall construction

A few days later, when the poured cement grabs a little, on wooden poles it is necessary to nail the four most durable beams. They are located at the level of the future floor of the gaming house. So we get a frame, with support bases in the corners and locations of windows and doors. Horizontally fixed beams complete the frame structure.

Let's start building walls and floors:

 1. According to the drawings, received frame base sheathed with a block house. In order not to waste precious time adjusting the dimensions, purchase products in the store that match the dimensions of your drawing.
 2. After sheathing the structure, the places of windows and doors are cut out according to preliminary markings. Special attention pay attention to decorating openings: they should not have cracks and sharp corners - this can be dangerous for a child.
 3. To build the floor on the nailed base beams, we nail additional boards. You need to install them at the same distance from each other. As a result, you should get a strong and durable semblance of a lattice.
 4. Now, on the finished base, you need to lay out two layers of plywood. Make sure that the top plywood overlaps the seams of the bottom ones. This arrangement of plywood makes the floor as safe as possible.

roof construction

Roof gables should be made from the same material that was used to build the entire house. They should be triangular in shape, and in no case flat.

To create pediments you will need:

The construction of the roof is almost completed, it remains to decide on its external covering (if you have not already done so). There are many photos on the internet. various options roof sheathing. It can be tiles, straw, ondulin, boards or polycarbonate. It all depends on your capabilities and desires.

Finishing work

The construction of a wooden house for a child with his own hands is almost completed. Left decide on the design of your creation. It can be decorated with a shallow pond with your child's favorite cartoon characters. Or you can show your imagination yourself by decorating a wooden house in the style of Russian folk tales. Fortunately, on the Internet you can find many photos with options for such decors.

However, whichever finish you choose, remember that correct handling wood is the key to the longevity of the gaming house. In addition, without proper processing, wooden house will quickly lose its appeal.

In maintaining the longevity of a wooden house with your own hands, you will be helped by:

 • Impregnations and varnishes that create an invisible film that repels dirt. Besides, protective film does not allow the wood to darken.
 • Fire retardants will reduce the combustibility of wood.

Use a roller to apply wood care products and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

As you can see, making a children's house for a summer residence with your own hands is not such a difficult mission. Just be patient and inspired. Create with your family and for your family And most importantly, don't be afraid to experiment. Consider the tastes of the child and try to choose a calm color scheme to decorate the playground. After all, soft, pastel colors have a beneficial effect on the psyche of the child, harmonizing it and activating creative processes.

Remember that the main requirement of a children's building is safety. Therefore, the absence of sharp corners and traumatic places should be your priority in creating a fairy tale for your baby. It should be not just fabulous, but also the safest place to spend your leisure time.

Do-it-yourself children's house

As an option for such a quiet corner, you can consider a children's house made of wood.

Children's house made of wood

Children's houses can be divided into two large groups, some are designed for babies from 2 to 6 years old, others for those over 6 years old.

But building a wooden house for children with your own hands is half the battle. Another question is how to arrange it?

A house for the little ones can have quite small size 1.7 * 1.7 in plan and 2.5 m in height.

Dimensions: 1.7x1.7 m around the perimeter and 2.5 m in height, which is quite enough for kids 2-6 years old.

The building for older children should be larger, for example, in terms of its dimensions can be 2 * 3 m and a height of about 2 m.

Children are crazy about houses built on tree branches. If there is no such direct possibility, then you can simply raise it to a certain height. By the way, in this embodiment, the house can protect the log of firewood.

When erecting orphanage from wood, all its details must be carefully polished. This is necessary so that its residents do not get scratched and do not pick up splinters. In addition, they must be covered with drying oil, at least two to three layers.

Of course, in addition to wood, it is permissible to use other materials, such as plywood.

There is no need to order a separate project for the construction of an orphanage. For counting required amount material, and the execution of work is quite enough for a self-made sketch. It should reflect all the main dimensions.

As a material, it is advisable to use the one that was used in the construction of the "adult" house. By the way, for the orphanage, you can use the waste that remained after the construction of a large house was completed. In order to build a children's wooden house with their own hands will be in demand:

 1. Hacksaw for wood;
 2. Roulette, plumb line, level, square;
 3. Chisel;
 4. Electric tool - drill, jigsaw, screwdriver;
 5. Fasteners.

For execution finishing works, can be used paints and varnishes and tools for working with them, of course, cannot be discounted and plywood, the thickness of which should be at least 10 mm. Directly for the construction of a house, you may need a bar 50x50.

We must not forget about roofing materials, bricks, etc. In order to increase the safety of the operation of such a house, it makes sense to install ready-made plastic windows and doors.

Building a wooden children's house with your own hands

A wooden house for children in the country can be built in the same sequence as the "adult". That is:

 • arrangement of the foundation;
 • erection of the main walls;
 • roof device.

Yes, in order to save money, the house can simply be painted, but we are talking about the safety of children, so it makes sense to sheathe the walls sheet material eg plywood. This will reduce the chance of injury during your stay in the lodge.

Baby house safety

It makes sense to make the front door to the full height of the wall. This will protect the child from getting bumps on the top jamb, and it will be easier for adults to enter. To avoid injury, the walls of the house must be sheathed with plywood or fiberboard. That is, they must be smooth. The roof in such a house should exclude the possibility that the child wants to climb on it.

Project plan, specifics

When drawing up a work plan, it makes sense to take into account the specifics of the orphanage. So the distance from floor covering to the ceiling must be at least 1500 mm. When building a house, it makes sense to install at least two windows. This approach will provide decent lighting inside. In addition, through these windows, parents will always be able to see what is happening inside and, if necessary, immediately intervene.

Preparation for work

For construction, it is necessary to carry out certain preparation, that is, to purchase necessary material(beam or log), cement, boards, Decoration Materials. The volume of purchases will become clear after the sketch of the structure is drawn up.

Foundation construction

This design is lightweight and therefore there is no special need for the construction of a strip, even a shallow foundation. You can get by with small, two or three brick columns, which will be installed at the corners of the perimeter of the future house. During their installation, it is necessary to ensure that the tops of the columns are located in the same plane. As an option, you can consider the implementation of a monolithic slab.

This structure will need to be equipped if a columnar foundation was used as the base. This is necessary to evenly redistribute the load created by the house.

As a basement structure, you can use interconnected beams on which wall elements will be erected. When lifting the walls, one should not forget about laying a layer of waterproofing material.

If the children's house is built as a small copy of the "adult", then, most likely, it may need to be connected to the sewerage system. To do this, you will have to lay a pipeline from the house to the entrance to the main sewer system.

It must be borne in mind that all actions for pipe insulation, etc. must be performed in an adult way.

To create a floor, you need to install logs. If the plans of the children to use their house in winter time, then, most likely, you will have to equip the floor, with appropriate insulation. To do this, it is necessary to perform all the necessary operations, that is, to fix unedged boards to the joists from below, lay vapor barrier material, insulation. Over the subfloor, you can arrange concrete screed. It will later be possible to lay the finish coating on it.

If a decision is made to build a house on frame technology, then you have to build a wall frame. For example, a wall in which a window will be installed will require the construction of a frame consisting of several beams. Two at the edges, two directly in the place where the window is planned to be installed. Under it, by the way, it will be necessary to install two horizontal bars. A window will then be installed in the resulting opening.

For blank walls, it is enough to install four vertical bars. If we assume that the width of the insulation mat is 600 mm, then the distance between the posts should be 10 mm less, this will allow the mat to be installed with an interference fit and prevent the formation of cold bridges.

For a children's house, it makes sense to provide for the installation of windows made of metal-plastic. It's just safer. It is quite difficult to make such windows yourself, so it makes sense to invite specialists who are engaged in the production and installation of such products.

Warming can be done by everyone accessible ways. For example, using mats made of mineral wool. But you can use ecowool. It is a harmless material that does not cause allergies. When laying it, you must use specialized equipment.

It must be remembered that the staircase is a source of increased danger for both children and adults, and therefore, for its construction, it is necessary to carefully and preferably study the documentation necessary for this case (GOST, SNiP, etc.).

As an option, you can consider a ladder made on a bowstring.

A few words in conclusion

When building a children's house on the territory of a country house, you must always remember about the safety of those who will use it, that is, about children.

All sharp corners must be smoothed out, for this you can use both manual and electric tools.

1 Building a house for a child with your own hands.

2 Children's playhouse

Remember your childhood: almost every child dreamed of their own separate housing - toy house. Many of us tried to make a similar corner for ourselves and, naturally, even though simple designs were obtained, they made our childhood much happier.

Anyone who had their own house made of a box, cardboard, lots of branches or pillows could rightfully be considered the “coolest” kid on the street.

Now that we have grown up and have our own children, we want to build a better structure with our own hands, which will bring joy to our children.

Children's house made of wood

You can build a house for a child with your own hands from any material suitable for this. However, the most common idea for a do-it-yourself children's house is precisely wooden version, which we will talk about.

This choice is due to the fact that wood is the most environmentally friendly and long-term material. Also, of course, wood has a more effective look, which adds atmosphere to children's games. Such a house will not make your child happy, but will also positively affect his health.

Naturally, it is very important to build a children's house with your own hands in such a way that so that it is the most secure and cannot bring any harm your heir.

When the time comes that your child has grown up and no longer needs his own play area in the form of a tree house, you will not have to wonder why he is needed now. Such a structure can be very effectively used as a country barn that fits perfectly into the exterior of your home.

The procedure for building a wooden house with your own hands

First of all, you need to decide how your house will look like. To do this, you can already draw up the first schematic drawing, which will determine the type of building that you need.

So, first of all, before construction, it is necessary to determine the following characteristics of the future structure:

 1. Open or closed house.
 2. Occupied area and height of the structure.
 3. Building locations. That is, where will the house be located: on the ground or on a tree? This is very important, since the options differ significantly in the construction process.
 4. The material from which the construction will be made. In our case, this is a tree.
 5. The presence of windows, doors, as well as their number and the material from which they will be made during construction.
 6. The presence of additional outbuildings, namely: fences, terraces, swings, stairs, slide, sandbox, any extension, and so on. It all depends on your imagination, you can build anything.
 7. Interior decoration.

Children's house ideas

Below is a list of ideas for building a wooden children's house. If you don't want to waste time creating your own house, creating drawings, ideas, and so on, you can use one of these options.

house-tent

This idea involves the construction of a children's house in the style of primitive people. That is, the style of Indians, Robinsons or nomads will be used here.

If you choose to build a house according to this idea, in addition to wood, you will need a lot of fabric, branches, and shrubs.

Hobbit house

Many of us are familiar with the story of the same name by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings”. It was after the appearance of the film adaptation of these books that many people got acquainted with the forest dwellers, who are also commonly called Hobbits.

It is the house of one of these forest dwellers that this idea proposes to build. Moreover, after the construction of such a building, you can really completely plunge into the fairy-tale world of Tolkien.

house-ship

This option is best suited for young rogue pirates and distant sailors. This the idea involves the construction of any kind of ship with my own hands. To better understand what such a wooden children's house will look like, you can see a lot of photos.

Development of a plan for a children's house made of wood

Before drawing up a detailed construction plan, as well as a drawing, it is necessary to take into account the mandatory features of such a structure:

 • the house must be mobile and stationary;
 • have at least two windows. Firstly, it is necessary in order for the house to have good lighting afternoon. Also, do not forget that such a structure is being made specifically for a child who needs an eye and an eye. In this case, the windows will perform the tracking function;
 • height from floor to ceiling should be at least half a meter. But do not make rooms too high;
 • doors are recommended to be made directly to the ceiling, that is, to the height of the entire house. Not only that the child must safely enter his home, but do not forget that sooner or later you yourself will be invited to visit him;
 • in order to completely get rid of the possibility of unnecessary injury to the child, the walls of the house must be smooth;
 • not worth building flat roof, because it may attract a child, sooner or later he will decide to climb on it, which will increase the risk of injury.

Drawing of a children's house

With regards to the drawing of a children's house in the country, you there is a choice of two options: either sketch a diagram yourself, or use a ready-made option.

If you are well versed in drawing up drawings, and you are not too lazy to engage in this craft, then feel free to choose the first option. If you want to use a ready-made drawing that a specialist worked on, then it is very simple, since you can find a lot of similar options on the Internet.

It is worth remembering that the drawing for the construction of a children's house in the country is being done in order to correctly calculate all materials to be used during construction. This will help not only save materials, but also correctly calculate their dimensions and produce a blank.

Do-it-yourself tools and materials for building

Here is a list of all the tools you may need when building a small wooden house for your child:

Also, of course, you will need materials, without which it is impossible to create cozy house for a child in the country. Materials you may need:

 1. Beam for the frame. We recommend choosing a beam with a cross section of about 50 x 50.
 2. Lumber for house cladding.
 3. Plywood with a thickness of more than 8 mm. OSB can be used. The second option is cheaper, but, as a result, less durable. It all depends on your capabilities and desires.
 4. Roofing material for the roof.
 5. Brick.
 6. Glass for windows. It is worth remembering here that given material is quite unsafe, so it is best to completely eliminate the presence of glass in the cottage in the country. However, if you are confident in your child, glass can also be used.

Construction process

Now that you have completely figured out all the details, created the drawings, found the material, spent everything necessary calculations, you can go to the country.

The entire construction process can be divided into several stages, each of which is very important:

 1. Foundation erection.
 2. House floor construction.
 3. Walls and frame.
 4. Roof.

Foundation

Of course, it is worth remembering that you are building an ordinary children's house in the country, and not a serious house for permanent residence. Therefore, the construction of the foundation for the children's house can be approached a little easier without flooding it.

In order for the cottage in the country for your child to last as long as possible, it is best to dig the soil of the order of 10 cm and lay it with bricks. You can, of course, also take advantage of the special terrace board , however, this option will be extremely costly.

If you are looking for an idea that will be the most budget and simple, use bricks.

Floor, walls and frame

It is better to approach the construction of the floor with all seriousness. There are 2 options here:

 1. The use of lags and floorboards.
 2. Using plywood or OSB.

At the corners of the foundation, it is necessary to dig holes in which the beams will be installed. This will be the support for the wall. Do not forget that before you place a beam in the ground, you need to competently approach the process of processing it.

For more solid construction you can use a metal corner. After placing all the corners of the beam into the ground, you can sew up the frame with boards or plywood, of your choice.

There are also options for houses that cannot be built without supports.

Roof

The beginning of the roof construction process must be carried out separately from the children's house in the country. The first step is to make the fronts. Here it is recommended to use the same beam, which was used during the construction of the frame.

It is necessary to install two triangles along the edges of the house, after which boards, OSB or plywood are sewn. If necessary, more than two triangles can be installed. It depends on the size of the house.

Don't forget about roofing material, which is superimposed on top of everything. Some professionals use thatched roofs.

In general, you can choose any option, but remember that the roof should never be used as a playground for your child. If the safety of the heir is important to you, approach this issue with all seriousness.

So, as you may have noticed, building a wooden house for children in the country with your own hands is a very simple craft that any self-respecting father can afford.

Using the universal construction principle given in this article, you can build any simple building for a child. The main thing is your imagination.

On the Internet, there is a considerable selection of options for children's houses for your beloved baby, both with a large budget and with a small one, but the budget does not play the most important role in this matter. Your imagination is also important here!

We propose to consider three options for children's houses: budget, moderate and outstanding.

Children's house - budget, portable

This option is well suited for low-budget families, as it requires: little time to build, no a large number of a simple tool and not a big investment.

In order to save money, instead of buying a board, we will use ordinary pallets for dry mixes, they have a fairly strong and thick board of 22 mm, exposure to moisture up to 27%, ready-made sizes, there are also squares inside the pallet, on which there will be stand the future fortress of your baby.

Material to be used

 1. Board 100 mm wide, 22 mm thick, 1,200 mm long;
 2. Bar 50x50; Plywood FSF: Long - 2.44 m; Width -1.22 m; Thickness - 6.5 mm.
 3. Screws 3.5x45 with a large pitch for wood;
 4. Iron fastening corners for wood;
 5. 4 cinder blocks or 16 bricks.
 6. If you decide to use a brick, you will need: 5 kg of Ceresit CM 11 mixture. Cement and sand are also suitable.
 7. corners;
 8. Door hinges and two handles.

Don't forget that children also need a little freedom, to be alone, to have their own little secrets from adults and to develop their creative thinking in their beloved and beautiful little house.

Tool

 • Hammer;
 • Crowbar or mount;
 • Roulette;
 • Square 30 cm;
 • Pencil;
 • Shovel;
 • Levels: 1 and 2 meters;
 • Drill with cue ball PH-2;
 • Hacksaw, A circular saw, jigsaw;
 • Thread or fishing line; (lacing)

Preparation for construction

First of all, we choose a small area with an area of 3x3 or 4x4. The site must be clear of stones, glass and other debris!

 1. Pallets must be intact, not covered with pesticides, not painted.
 2. Disassemble, do not break!

Carefully remove the nails, crowbar and pry the board with a mount. If the pallets are dirty, they should be cleaned, you can simply pour over with water and let them dry for 1-3 days, after that, you can process them with a planer, sandpaper and open with stain.

 • We need a tape measure, a square, lacing and four pegs.
 • We lay the square on the floor, set it - 90 ° draw a line from the outside of the square.

We choose the length of the second corner and measure with a tape measure from the first corner to the second, it should be 2,400 mm. The width of the third corner will be 1.10 mm. We drive in pegs and stretch the fishing line around the entire perimeter.

Inside the resulting rectangle, at all four corners, holes are dug to the size of a cinder block (if you decide to put a brick in the holes, then four bricks + glue or mortar will go to one corner).

Before laying cinder block or brick in the pits, the bottom of each pit must be tamped with a rammer or cinder block.

Making the floor

First of all, you need to make a frame for the floor from the bars. We cut the bars 1.10 mm wide, 2.400 mm long. The corners of the bars are tied together with iron corners 5x5 and screws 35x45.

Inside the structure, at least 2 more bars 2,300 mm long must be placed across the width and fastened with iron corners in the same way.

A board is screwed along the width on both sides and squares from disassembled pallets are attached at the corners, these will be the legs of the house.

The corner posts of the structure are installed at corners with a height calculation of 1,500 - 1,700 mm, as well as iron corners.

Through 1,200 mm on both sides we also fasten the vertical beams. From the entrance side, we add another beam at a distance of 500 mm from the corner post. Lie down on the floor, and the FSF plywood is screwed, the corners and the center of the plywood must be cut under the racks from the timber.

Racks are also twisted together horizontal bars. We choose the location and size of the windows, fasten two horizontal bars at the bottom and top of the window, this will be the height and two vertical beams along the slopes of the window, this will be the width of the window.

Gable roof

We proceed to the construction of the roof. First of all, measure the angle rafter leg and installed, rafters, from both ends of the house, they need to be measured, after that, you can cut down the rafter legs in the area of the ridge and eaves and twist on the floor.

The thread is pulled from one rafter leg to the other and the central rafter is installed. In the area of the ridge under the rafters, another beam is added, so that the letter "A" would be obtained.

Now you can board with a board 1.00 mm x 1.200 mm from pallets, all the walls and the roof of our house. To upholster the house with a board, you need to horizontally starting from the bottom, ending at the top, first, from the long sides and ending with the ends.

The extra length on the windows and doors must be filed down and cleaned so that the baby does not drive a splinter and scratch his head when he plays in the house. M

The roof can be upholstered with both boards from a pallet and plywood. Also, you can add a ladder to the roof and walls, with small handrails so that the baby can safely climb the roof of the house.

Two-story children's house, with a swing, a slide and a sandbox

Which of us would not like to make our baby not only pleased by giving a one-story house, but to build two floors for him with a slide, a sandbox and his own swing. In this version, we will consider just such a house with a small playground.

Material

 1. Concrete: Cement, sand, crushed stone;
 2. Reinforcement with a diameter of 5 mm and studs, not less than a meter long and 25 mm in diameter.

Sequence of works

We choose a place of 6x6 m² and prepare the surface of the site.

First, the layout of the house is done, then a recess for a bee box of 20-30 ms, and finally, four holes are dug at the corners of at least 700 mm under the concrete foundation.

Concrete is driven in with the calculation: 3 parts of cement, 2-3 parts of squeak, 1 part of crushed stone of the middle fraction. Reinforcement and threaded studs are prepared, the reinforcement is sunk into concrete, the stud must be at least 350 mm above ground level.

We begin to collect the skeleton of the house. Corner posts, 150x150 by 3,000 mm long, are screwed onto studs, and a small gap of 10-20 mm is left between the post and the floor. Studs are lubricated with machine oil or grease.

Measured horizontal bars, to tie the posts together, at the bottom under the sandbox and at the top under the second floor floor constructions, from the sandbox 1,500 mm. The entire skeleton of the house must be twisted through the fasteners and into the ends of all the beams through the pillars. At the bottom of the sandbox, you can screw FSF plywood 20-30 mm thick, no matter what the sand goes into the ground, the grass does not grow and there is no earth in it.

The construction of the second floor begins with the floor! Be sure to make a crate, and screw the boards with 45 screws, 150 mm wide, 25 mm thick. Windows and doors are measured, and a bar is installed along their perimeter.

The slide is assembled in the form of a ladder from a bar with the help of screws, the same boards are screwed along the stairs as on the floor of the second floor. The railing on the slide must be held tight so that the child does not accidentally break it off, so it is worth fixing one more beam along the railing on each side.

Before making swing mounts, you need to measure all the angles, file them down and assemble it on the floor. Expose and screw the central horizontal beam, first to the house, then to the top of the base of the triangle.

Do not forget! About the safety and security of their children. All parts must be twisted through the corners, and all available fastening systems. Bolts and screws should not stick out of the tree so that your child does not get hurt.

The roof begins to be made by measuring the rafters and their angle. Three triangles are assembled on the floor, two of them are fixed on the bars of the skeleton of the house. A fishing line is attached to them and a third is installed between them.

Now you can start upholstering the walls and roof of the house with a board from the outside. In nutria, it is also worth placing small benches on both sides near the windows. It is necessary to fasten the boards to the roof with a slight overlap of 10-20 mm on each other.

 • This house can also be painted or opened with stain and varnish.
 • We fix the swing, fill in the sand and loudly call the baby.

Children's house for a large family with a sports ground

If the child has nowhere to play and he is bored in the country, a children's house made of wood can solve the problem. Children are much less demanding than adults. Even the simplest house is no more than a hut made of wooden slats, fabric-covered- can become for them the finest place for games. What to say more complex structures- located on a tree, similar to wonderful forest huts, with a built-in slide or even imitating a pirate frigate. About everything in more detail later in the article.

Why a tree: pros and cons

Of course, in order to make a house for a child, you can use the most different materials- from plastic to real brick. But the tree has a number of specific advantages, some of which are devoid of other materials. This:

In addition, the tree, purely in meaning, is best suited for the implementation of some ideas. For example, it would be strange to make a fairy-tale hut out of plastic, but it would not be possible to assemble an alien ship out of brick at all. Also, if you have a dacha and connections with neighbors, you can find a tree at a low price.

There are also cons:
 • The need for care. Every year the house will have to be painted or varnished again so that nothing happens to it.
 • The need for careful handling. So that the child does not have a chance to splinter his hand, you need to carefully check all the boards, sand them if necessary.

A tree that is not cared for quickly begins to rot or dry out. But if you are ready to process it every spring, it will serve for a long time.

To further increase this period, you can make a house from one of the most common breeds in construction:
 • Pine. Among conifers is the best one you can choose. It has a delicate golden color, a slight resinous smell. The first years it will not need processing, because due to the high resin content in the wood it does not rot. May have a positive effect on the condition of the respiratory organs of the child.
 • Oak or beech. Wood of a dark, noble shade, which, due to tannins, does not absorb moisture well and, therefore, resists well to the external environment. Flexible, workable - it can be given any shape if it is properly bent during shrinkage.

You can still use an apple tree, but first you need to make sure that its wood is completely dry - during drying, it cracks, changes shape. It does not make sense to process it until it is completely dry.

You should not buy wood for the house that does not meet the standards - this is unsafe, and will also greatly affect its appearance.

You do not need to take boards that have:
 • cracks- this means that they are overdried, they will quickly crack further;
 • green spots- this is mold or rot, which means that the boards will quickly fail;
 • protruding knots- it's ugly, and the child can catch on during the game;
 • cavities filled with resin- it will have to be pumped out, otherwise the board will be fragile.

Ideally, the wood should be of a uniform color, without admixture of shades, without large knots, without spots, without minor defects. Then it can be used for a house without fear.

What are wooden houses?

Children's houses can be very different from each other - several different categories can be distinguished at once.

The first - by number of storeys:
 • single tier. It is easier to make such a design, since there is no need to calculate whether the pillars will withstand the second tier, whether it will be dangerous for the child to be on it. But they usually look less impressive, you can’t attach a slide to them, you can’t satisfy the endless love of children for lasagna. However, if you approach the design correctly, the result can still be worthy of attention.
 • Bunk. Such houses look more interesting, plus you can attach a slide, ladder or even a rope to them, along which the kids can go down. They require accuracy, accuracy - if you don’t calculate, the pillars simply won’t withstand, the second tier will collapse, and it’s good if no one is on it at that moment.

You can, of course, show creativity and build a three-story house for children, but usually such an idea is abandoned - it is costly in terms of materials, labor, and it is more difficult to calculate.

The second is by design:
 • open. These are, in fact, small gazebos that are relevant in the southern regions, where in the summer, indoors, children will suffer too much from the heat. They are made either in the form of a hut, or in the form of columns that support the roof, and they themselves are connected by a wooden lattice. As a result, there is a shelter, but it is cozy and cool. And if you want privacy, the child can always hang a cloth between the posts.
 • semi-open. Such houses have one or two walls, and the rest are posts with bars, like in a gazebo. On the one hand, they are not too stuffy, on the other hand, the child will not suffer from the rain if he goes, and it is more convenient for him to hide from the sun.
 • Closed. If you make two windows and keep them open, it will even be possible to be inside in the heat - especially if you place the house under the trees, in the shade. Most of the structures belong to this variety - castles, huts, ships, houses in a certain style.
Third - by placement:
 • Outdoors. In the courtyard of a private house or in the country, so that the child can spend more time outside - this is good for health.
 • Inside. Usually in an apartment, for those who do not have a summer house or a private house. Such a house cannot be two-tiered, does not require laying the foundation, but can become an excellent playground.
Fourth - for mobility:
 • Mobile. These are structures that can be assembled and moved to another place if desired. Usually these include plastic houses, but huts on wooden slats can also be easily changed.
 • Stationary. They stand in one place for several years - most of the wooden structures refer specifically to them.

What will be the house that you build depends solely on your imagination and the tastes of the child.

Advice

If you are going to build a structure in a country house where you spend only weekends, a mobile open house is better for you, which you can assemble and put away while you are away. And if you live in a private house, then it makes more sense to make a stationary one - a child can play in it even in winter.

How to build a house?

You need to approach the construction carefully, without haste. There is no hurry, but how much effort you put in, how much time you spend on calculations, how well you choose the material depends on what quality the result will be.

Preliminary work

In order for the house to serve for a long time, you need to lay the foundation from the very beginning. There are rules for this:

 • Without a drawing - nowhere. Finished drawing You can find it online, or you can do it yourself. Imagine what your dream design looks like. What size should it be so that the child is comfortable, how to achieve this. The easiest way is to make the drawing normal wooden box- and that's exactly what you can do to get started. Then, once you understand the principle, you can do something more complex.
 • Height. In order for the child to be comfortable, the design must be thirty centimeters higher than his height so that he can stand up. In fact, this rule is inaccurate - children grow quickly, ceilings will soon interfere. Therefore, it is better to take a universal height of sixty meters - although if you suspect that a teenager will not get tired of the house, then you can take two.
 • Width with length. The area near the house should be such that the child can turn around normally in it. Usually it is one and a half by one and a half - in such an area you can seat toys, put a table, turn around with board games. But less is possible.
 • Accommodation. Right place for a house - in the shade, but not too close to the trees, otherwise they may start to touch it. It is also desirable that you feel comfortable looking after the playing children from anywhere in the house and garden, and that no large-scale changes are planned in its place.
 • Foundation site. Must be clean and even. If this is not in the garden, you can make it yourself by removing upper layer soil, leveling with the same shovel.

And, of course, you need to stock up on materials.

For the most a simple hut This:
 • several (from five) rails of the same length;
 • strong twine;
 • fabric measuring about two by one and a half meters plus nails.
For a single-tier design, you will, of course, need more:

You will also need nails, screws, mounting brackets along with tools with which they can be fixed.

And the rest - only accuracy, along with readiness, if anything, to redo.

Direct construction

To make a hut - and they haven’t come up with anything easier yet - it doesn’t take so much effort:
 • slats are dug into the ground in a circle with a radius of about a meter;
 • the ends of the slats are tied together with twine;
 • the fabric is attached from above - first to one rail with the help of nails, then to the next, and so on until two adjacent rails remain.

It is somewhat more difficult with a real single-tier structure - it will not work to build it in half an hour. Although you also need to act consistently:

 • fold the base bars into a square, fasten them with corners, plus attach a separate bar in the middle with them;
 • dig four recesses under the foundation blocks in the chosen place and lay them;
 • put a frame on top, sheathe it with boards to make a floor;
 • attach wall beams to the frame - four at the corners, two each where there will be windows and doors, one on the remaining free wall, fix the frame from above, similar to the foundation;
 • make rafters - connect two bars each with special corners under acute angle, attach them to the wall frame;
 • sheathe everything with shield sheets - from the walls to the roof;
 • hang a pre-prepared door and windows.

Of course, in the details, the process is much more complicated, but its main stages look exactly like this. The result is a simple house that needs to be furnished to make it look good.

Decor

The design of the children's house must be approached with imagination. It should be bright, interesting even in appearance, but at the same time not devoid of taste.

Ready Ideas

Of course, it is not necessary to take what someone has already come up with before you. But you can always use other people's ideas for inspiration. So, a children's wooden house can look very different.

The first solution is like a fairy tale hut.
 • External design. The walls are finished in such a way that they seem to be made of logs (you can use imitation for this). The door is squat, also made of logs, but vertical. The roof is gabled, with a carved visor and a platband in the form of a cockerel. The shutters are carved, if desired, they can be closed. Colors - natural wood, bright red, bright yellow.
 • Interior decoration. The walls are made of the same logs, the floor is wooden, on it is a homespun (at least in appearance) carpet - it is convenient for children to play on it softly. In the corner there is a little whitewashed brick stove, in which, of course, you can’t really bake anything, but you can perfectly play the same Kolobok.
 • Interior design. At the walls of the bench - they sit on them. In the middle of the table - you can put on it Board games, constructor, sandwiches brought from a big house. There is a traditional chest in the corner, there are toys in it, and a lock can be hung on the lid. Hang bundles of herbs, beads, dried flowers under the ceiling. A Russian rag or straw doll will look good.

Of course, children will quickly turn a thoughtful design into something of their own - they will play with a doll, they will spill something on the table, they will fill up the carpet with toys - but the general atmosphere will still be traced.

The second is the gazebo of the Sultan.

 • External design. There are no walls - instead of them there are four pillars, a woven wooden mesh that looks intricate, interesting (instead of a wooden one, you can take a metal one). The roof is pointed, if skill is enough - in the form of an elegant onion. Arch door instead. It will be beautiful if grapes or another similar plant weaves along the grid. Colors - wood, red, blue, white, gold.
 • Interior decoration. The floor is wooden, no carpet. A fabric is fixed under the ceiling - if it is hot or you want to hide, it can be stretched by closing the grid.
 • Interior design. Lots of colorful pillows on the floor, a low table that not only plays with the entourage, but is also comfortable for children. An intricate iron candlestick with a real candle - of course, light only in the presence of adults. A dream catcher or wind chime hangs from the ceiling.

If children do not have allergies, you can put a stand for incense sticks - in the fresh air, their smell will not be suffocating, but pleasant.

The third is a pirate ship.
 • External design. The walls repeat the shape pirate ship, instead of a roof, actually, a deck. You can make an ordinary door, or you can - round manhole in the roof, like on a real ship. Then the child will need to climb the rope ladder to the deck and go down through the hatch. Such exercises are useful for coordination, but if the child is clumsy, it is better to refuse them.
 • Interior decoration. The floor is made of wood, the walls too, round portholes are not curtained with anything. On the walls there are benches or hammocks where you can lie down, read, swing. You can put a table, but you can do without it.
 • Interior design. Necessarily - accessories of the marine theme. Encyclopedia with ships. Rope on which you can learn to knit knots. A compass that can be used to determine directions. You can even give everyone who goes to the ship an eye patch to make it more convenient to play pirates.
The fourth is a European-style house.
 • External design. Paint the walls, make the door framed, beautiful. The windows are simple, with rectangular shutters. In front of the entrance, you can set up flower beds that children can care for if they want. Colors are pastel, with bright accents on the roof and doors.
 • Interior decoration. Paste the walls with simple wallpaper, leave the floor wooden, whitewash the ceiling. You can put a carpet to make it more comfortable.
 • Interior design. Necessarily a vase with flowers, a small sofa child size. You can make an imitation of a fireplace, you can put a bookcase. Plush toys, a table with a set for tea drinking. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy.

This decision is suitable only for calm introverted children - this should be taken into account. It’s not interesting to play active games in such a house, but it’s quite enough to play something economic.

Advice

When building a house, be sure to use the help of a child. Discuss with him what he wants to see. Invite to participate in the creation of a sketch. Even if the baby is only four years old, it will be he who will use the result, which means that his opinion is also important.

Additional nuances

To make the house look even better, you can use tricks:

 • Make a separate path for it. You can lay it out with stone, tile or wooden dice- depending on how it looks in general. So, for a Russian hut, mossy stones are suitable, scattered so that you need to step widely from one to the other. But for oriental motifs you need a beautiful tile.
 • plant flower beds. Not all children like to mess around with flowers, but if yours does, it’s quite possible to give him a plot near the house so that he can plant whatever he wants on it.
 • Use not only simple varnish with paint. You can paint the walls with interesting designs (for example, your favorite cartoon characters), you can draw beautiful patterns, or you can decorate them with intricate carvings. Even a stained-glass window instead of ordinary glass in the window will look beautiful.
